I think Marvin Lewis has kept his job because he works cheap.  And Mike Brown is cheap.

how does Marvin Lewis stay in the league?

Guess.

I've no clue. Won't be surprised if he's gone at season's end.
Same thing that kept Jeff Fisher employed for years, though my guess is it goes against that racist fuck's theory.

So how does Marvin Lewis keep his job?

Not sure of the amount in the contract but making the playoffs has seemed to suit the Cincy brass in the Lewis era (7 times, including 5 in a row between '11 and '15)

Last year they didnt want Marvin to be a lame duck - and after going 6-9-1 I guess they didnt want to pay 2 guys.

Question is - 15 years with Bengals - does he get another gig?

Equating the 2 hits is ridiculous.  The hit on Antonio Brown was much more brutal - and likely premeditated.

Agreed. Dangling your nuts in a guy's face you just blindsided and KO'ed is not the look the NFL wants to promote.

No one wants that job, and the owner is a nutcase.

I dunno. Jay Gruden would be welcomed back by the Cincy fans considering his QB track record and he already works for Dan Snyder, who may not be a nutcase but is a major league asshole.

According to ESPN

The Browns fired executive vice president Sashi Brown, the man who headed Cleveland's personnel department the past two years, on Thursday.

Head coach Hue Jackson will remain on the job and will return for the 2018 season, "but we feel it is necessary to take significant steps to strengthen our personnel department," owner Jimmy Haslam said in a statement.

Again exposing my ignorance, but how is it a perfect week if you predicted the over and it was decidedly under?
