good thing the Maras were on board with giving the young guys a look/see.
heh
Three losses may not cut it for your QB of the future. I know some guy who might be willing to part with the top draft choice, for a price. My QB of the future seems to be Brady. Though depending on who's around at the top of the 2nd round (49er pick) I could see the Pats thinking about their future signal caller. Or trade down and pick-up a lower 2nd and a 3rd rounder. Giant's QB of the future may be the guy leftover after the Brownies pick one of Darnold/Rosen or Rosen/Darnold. If Sonny Weaver is indifferent he might pull an Ainge, and swap the #1 for the 2 or 3, and get the leftover and more picks We have traded out of Carson Wentz and Deshaun Watson in back to back years. If they are not sold on the best QB on their board as "the" guy I expect them to do it again. there seems to be a buzz around Darnold/Rosen that Wentz certainly did not have. Watson had the buzz but also a lot of doubters who wondered if he could successfully transition to the NFL. It may be harder with the #1 to trade (way) down unless you trade to the 2nd or 3rd pick and get the the guy and some additional picks. If the Browns miss out on a potential superstar franchise QB even Sonny Weaver would be vulnerable. Well, if you take a QB at 1 you are married to him, come what may. If he is not "the guy" you are in trouble. I see the Browns trading down, no further than 5. Taaaaaaake the running back I am ok with that, though a wide receiver who stays healthy, can separate, has great hands and is not one bad night away from permanent banishment is my higher priority, followed by a guy who can cover the same. But the best player available, regardless of position - and for the first time in 11 years, that includes left tackle, although we can play him on the right side for a couple years.

Just eyeballin' and spitballin' if they were to trade down to the 5th pick it seems at least two of those teams in fron of them (Giants Broncos) would be candidates to draft QBs. Who do you think the Browns would target with the 5th pick assuming Darnold/Rosen are gone? btw marriage ain't what it was, but can be expensive to disentangle from. Mason Rudolph, Lamar Jackson, though I have my doubts about his physicality. I should note, if they think Rosen or Darnold is "the guy", take him. Remember, they also have Houston's pick which should be around top 10.

Still and again. "Wait, he's got a 43 yarder? Oh, come on, we can let him get closer than that!"

So Gronk is appealing the suspension for the dirty play he apologized for making. Welcome back, Ernie.

Guess. I've no clue. Won't be surprised if he's gone at season's end.

Guess. I've no clue. Won't be surprised if he's gone at season's end. Same thing that kept Jeff Fisher employed for years, though my guess is it goes against that racist fuck's theory.
