When Gallo speaks, he exudes brash confidence and I can easily see that translating into Alpha stardom. When Wilson speaks, he exudes humility and I can easily see that translating into Beta sidekick-dom.
Now these are almost totally baseless surface judgments. But that's what I see.

what TV said. kam - very astute observation. you coming back to your former status? On Gallo/Wilson gallo is a boy and Wilson is a man. forget the ages. look at the body. Wilson is exactly where he should be body wise. Gallo? no. Wilson gets you a point in a deal. he is a very solid prospect at 15 per with ideal size for a 3. minny should want the rubio deal because they have flynn/sessions already. they need a 3 to go with love/jefferson. Hmmmmm. how about a bigger deal. lee/Wilson for jeff/rubio. no research on this - just a musing. I'm just getting warmed up!

Kam got me thinking.
that's never good.
3 best players in the last 20 years are MJ/Kobe/Lebron
they all have exactly what Kam says.
'defer' is not in their dictionary.

Wilson doesn't really defer when he plays. But he does have a personality that doesn't lend itself to say... Team Captain status. He's not the kind of guy who will rally the troops with his mouth. He will rally them with his instinctive style of play. He is good. But not all-star level. Gallo might be All-Star someday.

I should wait for more folks to weigh in, but I think this be a fickle forum. Wilson is apparently last year's future all-star. Gallo this year's model.
Anyway, I see Wilson as legit starter with a defined position. Gallo more unformed, uncertain.
I like that Wilson has cut down on 3's. I also like how Gallo has started to add the drive.

i really don't see NY moving wilson anyway.
just a musing.
once the team has signed someone we can go from there.
only lebron are Wade foundation players.
the rest including bosh/amare/etc are compliments.

Everyone has an opinion.
here is one that i find interesting
we have no pick next year right?
Christopher Reina
editor real GM.
"P: It will be a few months before we know exactly what this year’s draft class will look like depending on who declares, but given the projections how would you compare this year’s class to previous ones?
I see a lot of similarities between this draft and the 2007 class. That class had Durant and Oden up top, followed by quite a few real low ceiling uncertainties behind them.
I have a couple more questions about John Wall than I did at the time with Oden and Durant, but he is every bit as unique of a talent and I would build a franchise around him the same way Presti has with Durant.
The only other player I would trust to become an All-Star from the class is DeMarcus Cousins, even though there are a lot of things about him that make him untrustworthy.
I'm of the opinion that Evan Turner, Derrick Favors, Wesley Johnson, Cole Aldrich, Al-Farouq Aminu, Patrick Patterson and a few others in that range are merely role players. Guys like Hassan Whiteside, Greg Monroe and Donatas Motiejunas are the high end projects, but they're far from bankable.
The 2007 class had Aaron Brooks, Carl Landry and Marc Gasol all go late and would now be easy top-10 picks. I think we'll see a lot of that from this class when we begin to judge it with NBA experience in a few years.
It will be a year where I'd rather bet with multiple picks in the second half of the first round or even early in the second than with a pick in the seventh or eighth range.'
on free agency
LeBron will be the first domino and I expect everyone to clear out of his way and not really be active until he signs because each player will want his own moment in the free agency sun.
-LeBron James: New York -Dwyane Wade: Miami -Joe Johnson: Chicago -Amare Stoudemire: Miami -Chris Bosh: New York -Carlos Boozer: Utah -Tracy McGrady: LA Clippers -David Lee: Toronto -Rudy Gay: New Jersey -Allen Iverson: Barry Bonds retirement, where he receives no offers.

The draft is officially overrated as evidenced by last year's number 2 THABEET now playing in the NBDL.
Most kids are coming out half baked. So having no number one this spring is really irrelevant considering the FA Show to follow. Which will also explain why the NCAA tourney is becoming more ho-hum as well.
There are no real power house teams because no player of any pro potential seldom plays into their junior or senior year.
Gone forever are powerhouse teams such as UNLV of the 90s, those great Duke teams.

You gotta be kidding me. Last year's Guard/Wing draft looks impressive up and down the list. The Top 12 looks unusually strong, though the 2 Bigs (Thabeet and Hill) need time to develop.
I even see 5 players from the second round who look like they'll have solid 6-10 year NBA careers (Blair, knees willing; Brockman; Jerebko; Budinger and Marcus Thornton). Also Dante Cunningham and Pendergraph are getting some minutes.
And three int'l first rounders (10% of the 1st round) have yet to come over, while another handful of foreigners were stashed in the second round.
I don't follow college hoops much, but didn't Florida just win b2b championships? (just after David Lee left, so not too long ago)

Nets will only have approx a 25% chance at the #1 pick. Most likely they pick 3rd or 4th.
How do folks feel about Collison? When Paul comes back, he'd make a nice chip to get another starter for NO. Is Collison a D'ant Point? Would folks consider Wilson or Gallo for Collison?

Wall is terribly overrated (You can build a franchise around Durant, but Wall can't hold a candle to KD) and seems immature as well.

Curry for Diop and Augustin solves our PG problem for next year and gives us enough cap room for two Maxers.

EL CAJON, Calif. (AP) -- A California Highway Patrol officer helped slow a runaway Toyota Prius from 94 mph to a safe stop on Monday after the car's accelerator became stuck on a San Diego County freeway, the CHP said.
Prius driver James Sikes called 911 about 1:30 p.m. after accelerating to pass another vehicle on Interstate 8 near La Posta and finding that he could not control his car, the CHP said.
''I pushed the gas pedal to pass a car and it did something kind of funny... it jumped and it just stuck there,'' the 61-year-old driver said at a news conference. ''As it was going, I was trying the brakes...it wasn't stopping, it wasn't doing anything and it just kept speeding up,'' Sikes said, adding he could smell the brakes burning he was pressing the pedal so hard.
Wow! I didn't even realize a Prius could go 94.....
