Question: How much NHL do you watch?
Far less than I used to
A little less than I used to
The same as always
More than ever
Am not now and have not ever really been a fan

Anyone want to guess where Sean Avery ends up?

Report: Rangers cut ties with Avery
Wednesday, 03.07.2012 / 9:48 AM
By NHL.com Staff -  / At the Rink blog

It appears as though the New York Rangers have cut ties with 31-year-old forward Sean Avery for good.

According to ESPNNewYork.com, Avery was informed on Tuesday that he would not be on the postseason roster for the Rangers' American Hockey League affiliate in Connecticut and told he no longer needed to report to the rink for practice or games.

Avery, who was twice waived twice
(sic) by the Rangers this season, was last placed on waivers on Dec. 30, 2011, three days before the Rangers would visit Philadelphia for the 2012 Bridgestone Winter Classic. Since he wasn't claimed by any NHL team, he returned to the Connecticut Whale but of late has been scratched indefinitely. He last appeared in a game for the Whale on Jan. 27.

Avery is in the final year of a $15.5 million, four-year contract.

Avery officially retired (or will at end of season)

Good luck in whatever he does.

Let's hope Pittsburgh gets their "hot streak" out of their system before the playoffs.

Avery?

Maybe he can join a skinheads organization or work at Breitbart.com or something in line with his skill set.

Looks like the league sent out the memo to allow the Penguins to stay in the series.

It must be awful to have every team you root for, in every sport, be the victim of a league-wide conspiracy.
