Astro's played better on offense, defense, special teams.

But at least Vaz nailed Joe West.

It turned out that while 2-0 was manageable, 3-2 wasn't.

And then Workman poured gas on the fire, but I don't know that it actually made a difference.

OTOH, perhaps Sale comes back in game 4.

Fortunately, Price goes tomorrow and he has been far better against Houston than Sale has!

That's the way the ball bounces.

But it sure is a good thing we had Price going! His pitching line is a tribute to his prior success against the Astros and the pride he carried with him into tonight's game!

4.2 innings, 4 runs (all earmed), 5 hits, 4 walks, 4 strike outs. The Astros batted a mere .263 against him. Yeah, sure, his OBA was .391, but so what? And his SLG was .474, but that doesn't mean much! The OPS was .865 for the night and WHIP was only 1.5.

And he did bring his 2018 post season ERA down to 9.95, which is lower than his 2016 post-season ERA for the Sox, even if it is higher than every other season's or series' ERA for him.

Clearly, he has earned another start in this series and perhaps the Game 1 slot should the Sox reach it!

Right, Kiid?

Who knows if Sale on Saturday was pitching sick or not, but he didn't  look right. If Sale is less thsn 100%, Cora's going to have to do a whole lot of stitiching together and hope that Eovaldi and Porcello come up big, hmm, maybe even BIGGER  in games 3 and 4.  Worry about Game 5 later and see who's around.

Yeah, play the first 2.  Win one.  Good idea.
