If I were a petty sort of fellow, I guess I'd expect someone to actually identify the title behemoth by NAME, but I gather that everyone has figured it out, then, and is now too exhausted to type anything of such length.

I guess Harrie has the larger share of answers, so is eligible to construct and then deploy her very own cinematic question, should the spirit so move her.

Well, the missing film is Who is Harry Kellerman and Why is He Saying Those Terrible Things About Me? (give or take a word)

Okay, I have a short and easy one.  Jon Bon Jovi -- yeah I know, I hate his music, but I do know this -- wrote "You Give Love a Bad Name" about an actress he'd been dating in the '80s. Here are some sample lyrics:

An angels smile is what you sell
You promise me heaven, then put me through hell
Chains of love got a hold on me
When passions a prison, you cant break free
Shot through the heart
And you're to blame
You give love a bad name
I play my part and you play your game
You give love a bad name

Who might be the, uh, inspiration for this lyric dreck?

Younger, not as blond (and likely natural), and there is sort of a Playboy connection there, once removed.

Let's see....she did star in a musical of sorts, though she did not do her own singing.

Ponderosa, that title you initialed, looked like Hindi to me, not exactly written in Sanskrit but when in English that's what the Hindi language looks like.

No, not Reese -- older by about 10 years plus or minus.

She's been on the cover of TIME -- that may be a dead giveaway, but so be it.

Well, there goes my guess of Teri Garr. I believe she is even older than that.

It was accident! Hindi is all Greek to me.

Really, I thought that last hint was a meatball pitch just begging to be hit out of the park.

She went to the Oscars this year but was not nominated for her work.  Her husband, however, won a SAG for being part of "Outstanding Cast" this year.

And Francis Ford Coppola loves/loved her, casting her in four movies of his many years ago.

The next hint may be a game of Hangman with her name, maybe.
