Dzimas, http://www.newyorksocialdiary.com/node/3664This is really my favourite kind, I used to admire it as a kid and want to live in the local examples of this style when i grew up and an apartment became available. I was surprised to find that there are some in existence in Montreal; sometimes turned into hotels, and then I immediately notify my French friends who like to travel there for vacation occasionally, when ever I have found a new "find". The smaller scale versions, however, are of such 'age' that they have their interiors remodeled for guests as sparsely as possible; they are without the luxuries that we become used to in the US with franchise groups investing in updating facilities for travelers. What do you know of the doyenne of the Bronfman family's projects in architecture. Of course, she may have passed away by now.

Britain is a nation of art lovers, according to a new survey which found that more people visited the British galleries in the world's top 30 in 2007 than any other country's. The UK came top of the Art Newspaper survey with 22.5m visitors, to nearest rival France's 16.9m. (Independent on Sunday)

http://www.whatsonwhen.com/sisp/index.htm?fx=event&event_id=77293This place is indicative of a subject that began to interest me in the 1970s, buying the light summer wines from this region;pronounced "Mo--selle" among the French speakers, although this is a bilingual place, and just said,"Mo-sel" in German. The other day, I did find some shots put aside of better known locations from when John Malkovich drove up from France for a film shoot: Shadow of the Vampire. They wanted dark interiors of some available castle. Luxembourg is full of faery tale castles from incredibly long ago because this was the outpost of the Roman legions on the Barbarian frontier when they conquered Gaul. I'll see if I can dig them up again.

http://www.thefirstpost.co.uk/?storyID=25513Decided on second thought they really were not that "valid" while laying claim to being "iconoclastic". Especially in the other claim of being true to color values, etc. Somewhere about mid-way through the restaging, the color is garishly inappropriate for Picasso's, Boy with Pipe; then you begin to rethink whether the better of the bad poses are really ready to be considered Art? It's more of an affectation. We overuse it a lot in our culture.
