Why do the Dead need 2 drummers?

In case one of them dies or passes out.

"Why do you fill me up, buttercup baby,

Just to let me down..."

Alphanumeric Sweatlodge is a good band, an eclectic blend of electronica, new age, and baroque.

lol  (you had me going for a minute)

Samantha Crain (a real singer, with a real band) has a remarkably odd voice.  Just heard her on NPR, checked out some tracks on youtube -- amazing.

For wedding music, not much could beat Tuck and Patty's You Take My Breath Away or their version of Time After Time.  They do loving commitment better than anyone, and have been for a lot of years.

FOUR out of five posters are gone in hardly more than a fortnight. Well I have something of the kind to report that will fit right in. Bob Marley's master tapes were destroyed in a fire in Ghana where his wife had set up a center to preserve his music.

Two sad things at once.  And we can't even blame puge for the loss of the tapes; he was here posting much too often, even though I couldn't see what he was saying.

We should hold a thought for Mitch Miller, who died on the weekend, in every one of these music threads as he was a powerful force in all fields except the ones he didn't like, such as rock and roll.  (Hey, even Homer nodded.)

When another person makes you suffer, it is because he suffers deeply within himself, and his suffering is spilling over.

Quote from        Thich Nhat Hanh

passed along by another friend who is far away in a distant land and very much liked the comment that was passed along from southeast Asia to Korea to Israel to the US....

Actually, no professional musicians liked rock and roll except for the musicians who had to invent the genre and perfect it as their own contribution to music.  It is really hard to tell where one thing ends and another begins and then where will it end; musicians are much too slick about their in-fighting.
