a 2-parter, both parts for the win.

Tony Conigliaro has been mentioned today. Tony had a reputation for going long (youngest guy ever to hit 100 HRS) and as a swordsman. Around the same time as TC, a west coast pitcher with a memorable name also had a similiar reputation and similiar taste in women.

1.who was the west coast pitcher?

2.The lady in common?

ok, talk about franchises that remind you of snow white's seven dwarfs.   there's a major league franchise that has had managers with the following first names during its history:

Blondie
Chief
Red
Gavvy
Kaiser
Stuffy
Hans
Doc
Bucky

name the franchise.

Who is the ONLY active player in MLB who: (1) is not currently on the Juice and (2) was not on the Juice at one time or another during his career?

Close, but no.  He does, like Hafner, play for an insensitively (or offensively or whatever) named team.

No, and no.

I figured this would be an easy one...  The ONLY active MLB player who: (1) is not on the Juice and (2) has never been on the Juice, is Andruw Jones.

Law did I see someone call you Bux? As in buxbro my old friend from the dining forums? Who sang the natl anthem before game 3 of the 2004 div series when the Yankees just killed em and hopefully no member of said group/family will ever be allowed to set foot in Fenway again.
