One of my Buddies was buying cheap coffee, and then he said that he just did not like the taste of coffee anymore. I told him that he did not like coffee because he was buying bad coffee, I told him to spend a few dollars more and to buy the good coffee. He started buying the good coffee and then he liked coffee again.

And it is the same with Macaroni and Cheese, it is best to spend a couple of dollars more to buy the good kind.

It is worth it to spend a couple of dollars more to buy higher quality products.

Here is a recipe for Limoncello...

https://www.recipesfromitaly.com/homemade-limoncello-recipe/

I think it would be fun to mix with tequila and make Limoncello Margaritas.

It could be a fun drink on the hot summer nights.

Lancaster, California, needs a great Hawaiian Barbecue restaurant, Lancaster can be a resort if you have the right state of mind, and there are these little jewels of restaurants in the Antelope Valley, they need a great Hawaiian Barbecue restaurant.

The Francis Ford Coppola Winery is hiring cooks, etc. It would be a good job for someone who wanted to live in the Wine Country of California, and also work for Coppola and maybe make some connections in the Entertainment Industry. If it was 20 years ago I would have done it. And for sure when I was homeless I would have rather been working and living in the Wine Country, I would have accepted a cooking job in the Wine Country for sure then.

The Almaden Cabernet Sauvignon has a delicious chocolate undertone, it is fantastic for a cheap California wine sold by the box. Good cheap wine is one of the blessings of living in California.

This Cabernet Sauvignon from California is just as good as the Chianti from Tuscany.

Putting a stigma on fat folks doesn't help solve the real environmental problems.

Walnuts, avocados, olive oil, long walks.   All you need.

May not be a great solution for those with tree nut allergies.

Though twas meant as whimsical, I will add that walnuts may be replaced with omega-3 rich fish oil or flax oil or algal oil, combined with tasty high fiber foods.  Followed by somersaults of course.  Then cover yourself with cats and marinate well with red wine.

Not sure I can give up cantaloupe and light calisthenics, but may give this a try.

Also important: have a vice.  It bestows depth.

My latest is polenta.  Started using it in more dishes a few months ago, now it's just crazy how fast I can disappear one of those plastic wrapped cylinders.

Vices -- covered.

I make polenta rather than buy the tube.  It's likely cheaper; and using water, broth, milk, cheese/no cheese, etc. one can customize the end product depending on its intended use. You can pour it into a greased pan and refrigerate for solid pieces (like the tube stuff). I usually serve it soft, topped with fried eggs, meatballs, mushroom ragout, etc. Not all at once, though.

With all the food discussion, I hope you had a pleasant Thankstaking, Day of Mourning, NFL Appreciation Day, or Thursday.

Thank ye!  We didn't have to mourn any turkeys, mainly due to wide dispersal of family this year and work obligations.   It was actually nice to have a quiet Thursday, phoning the kids, reading, dozing, and stuffing random items into our face holes.  I will take inspiration from your polenta creation.  It would certainly be money saving to just start with cornmeal and broth and butter and so on.  The mushroom ragout on top  sounds like a likely topping for us.
