Roy Moore, the controversial Alabama Senate candidate endorsed by President Donald Trump, said George Soros’ agenda is “not our American culture” and suggested the Jewish billionaire philanthropist was headed to hell.

“No matter how much money he’s got, he’s still going to the same place that people who don’t recognize God and morality and accept his salvation are going,” Moore said. “And that’s not a good place.”

The United States is holding a citizen prisoner and has denied his request for an attorney.

Nor can they tell a judge exactly when an attorney would be provided to this unnamed citizen.

Some say that religion is the opium for the masses, but now the masses are on real opium. It would be better if we had more religion, and less opium.

Our country is in sad shape, all of the jobs went to China, and then our nation was flooded with drugs. In the 80's it was cocaine, then meth, etc, and now everyone is on pharmaceutical drugs.

One thing that I remember about when Russia got their freedom, no one in Russia knew how to do anything, they were used to being unemployed and drunk on vodka, they had a hard time learning capitalism. Some people in Russia even wanted to go back to communism because they did not know how to earn money. Freedom is great if you know how to earn money, but no one likes to be unemployed and hungry, or even worse to watch your children go hungry. Being able to earn honest money is an important part of freedom.

And a job is about more than just being occupied, you can take pride in your work, and you need to earn enough money to enjoy life and to support your family comfortably, etc. For a man it is important to be able to make money, the same way that it is important for a woman to have children, it is important for a man to be able to take care of his family. And it is sad when the fathers are taken out of the picture, when the women get government money and they no longer need the man, that is part of what is wrong with America right now, too many children are growing up without fathers, and the men do not know the joy and pride of being able to work and take care of their families.

Also of note, is that we need real jobs, we need to create stuff, we cannot all work for the tax payers as cops and firefighters and school teachers, etc, we need real jobs that pay taxes to support all of those jobs of people who work for the tax payers. You cannot have everyone working for the tax payers while no one works to pay the taxes to support those jobs. And the best paying jobs with the best benefits should not be the jobs working for the tax payers, the best jobs should be in the private sector.

Real religion can help, and Christians are taught good work ethics. And people need to demand that we bring the good jobs back. Jobs such as building automobiles in Van Nuys, California, those were good jobs, we need to bring those jobs back. We can build electric cars in Van Nuys, etc. We also need to fight to keep and grow our entertainment industry in California, etc. Another important aspect of business and creating jobs is the issue of finance, and giving people business loans to start businesses, you can have the greatest ideas in the world but without the money to back up your ideas and to make them happen then you cannot do anything. On the issue of drugs, there is the good old fashioned "Just Say No" approach, and we need to better educate the public about drugs, and doctors need to prescribe the non-narcotic pain pills, etc, and the opiates should only be for extreme cases.

On the issue of heroin, our enemies are sending it to us, so that should tell you something. Our enemies are selling heroin to our people, and then they are using the money to fight against us in Afghanistan, etc. We need to get the people of Afghanistan to grow cotton instead of poppy, and we need to take the economy in Afghanistan away from our enemies, and we need to give the economy to the good people of Afghanistan. They need a whole new economy in Afghanistan, and the bad guys need to get poor, while the good guys get wealthy.

And we need to support good worker rights globally, and labor unions globally, like we did with Solidarity in Poland, and by doing so we will help the world economy, and workers around the world will buy American products when they can afford to buy American products. Workers cannot buy our products if they are all poor. Slave labor hurts everyone. By helping others to be paid fair and treated well, we help ourselves.

Salute,

Tony V.

Good. Jerusalem is the logical place for the US Embassy since every Israeli knows Jerusalem is its Capital.
Trump will join Harry Truman in refusing to pretend that Israel has no capital.

It's unusual for most here to display as much abject ignorance on any particular topic in a post as you've done here.

Failed presidential candidate Scott Walker plans to defy the U.S. Constitution by requiring food stamp recipients to be drug tested.

I wonder how much more money the GOP executives and legislators want to waste on these drug tests.
Welfare Reform is the next big GOP battleground.  Get ready.

Can’t wait...

It's called WORK.

Other presidents laid out their promises on Jerusalem - and failed to follow through.  Not Trump's style.

Dictatorship?

Come on.

Why is this hard to follow?  The only barrier between Authoritarianism and Democracy is our Constitution, and the only way to ensure that the Executive Branch adheres to the Constitution is Congressional oversight and the threat of removal.
And your point is what?

The point is clearly stated in the section you edited out of the quote, as well as the post that preceded this one.

Tell us REDSTATEWARD, what action do you think Congress should take if Trump fires Mueller?
Why would he fire a guy who is self destructing
Because he is not.
Quote
and losing credibility faster
Because he is not.
Quote
than he is burning though $ millions chasing fake news?
Because he is not.
Quote
The only thing we know for sure is that Mueller’s staffing requirements for this alleged investigation were lawyers that donated money to the Hillary campaign.
In tbe real world - not the right wing nut job sites you frequent - they are Republicans and Democrats. But behave as expected.
Quote
Add to that his attempted coverup of an avowed Trump hating FBI investigator who shared anti-Trump texts with his mistress. Instead of firing  the cheater Mueller transferred him to the FBI HR department so he could hide the embarrassment from Congress which, thankfully, failed.
Or because he cannot.actually fire FBI agents and the bureau decided an appropriate punishment.
Quote
Mueller is a joke
Notice Trumps lawyers went from "no collusion, no obstruction" to "the president cannot obstruct and collusion is not.a.crime" within days of Flynn's pea? If Mueller is a joke Trump ain't laughing now.
Quote
but Trump would make him a martyr by firing him.
Get a grip.
Physician heal thyself.
There is an opening on Mueller’s team.  You qualify. Hurry, though, his resignation may come swiftly
Dream on. The noose is tightening.
Only on Mueller.

Trump may have a noose prepared to tighten around Mueller's neck.  That isn't to his credit.  But we'll note here that you and kidcarter8 find the possibility of his being fired so laughable.  The same way the two of you viewed, for example, Trump giving his full endorsement to "Judge" Moore.

What I find laughable is the idea that Mueller's moving an agent off his team for sending private messages that are critical of Trump is evidence of a biased investigation.  In any logically thinking universe, it is evidence of the exact opposite.

And with Trump's approval rating of 35%, if you are asking Mueller to only employ Trump supporters, you would be significantly hamstringing his efforts.  Not to mention limiting him to a talent pool of demonstrated questionable intelligence.

Deutsch Bank subpoena story is fake news!

According to Trump's law team.  Not according to anyone else.  And in fact, there are reports now that the bank is complying:

https://www.ft.com/content/3c357c9a-d9dc-11e7-a039-c64b1c09b482

As I've said before, if your world-view is that only Trump, Putin, and Fox News are telling you the truth, that is a view that needs obvious reassessment.

The whole point of a special counsel is to have a procedure insulated from partisanship.  The GOP keeps losing track of this sort of thing, what I like to call Fundamentals of Democracy 101.
