Widening trade deficit and rising inflation are the harbingers of the terrible trump economy run by crooks and crackpots for the benefit of foreign autocrats and their puppets and shell corporations.

Talk about bringing home the bacon.

A recent shopping spree by Americans is stoking stronger growth in the world’s largest economy. Spending at U.S. retailers soared 0.8% in May, the biggest jump in six months, the government said Thursday, June 14. Consumers, spurred by tax cuts and the lowest unemployment in half a century, shelled out more for cars, clothing, building supplies, health products and bar tabs.

Bill Clinton always got it wrong. Letting consumers keep more of their money results in better spending decisions than trusting the government.

Just gonna leave this right here...

LOL
The democrat congress wrote the stimulus package and 80 per cent of the money went to the rich.
It set us on a path to the slowest recovery from a recession in memory.  By the end of the first two years of the Obama presidency Nancy Pelosi and a host of her liberals were sent to the back of the House.
Now after a real tax cut and the reversal of Obama’s hurtful business-job killing regulations we  have the lowest unemployment rate in 44 years and an economy that is headed to 4+% in the second quarter.

No wonder you want to “ leave it right there”.

The Democratic Congress was still run by GOP lite and the same Senators who almost killed the ACA held the stimulus hostage.

Meanwhile the GOP, in the midst of an economic crisis kept screaming about debt and deficits...

https://www.nytimes.com/2009/02/12/us/politics/12stimulus.html

The deal reflected a calculated gamble by Mr. Obama in the first weeks of his term. To win Republican votes, the final stimulus package is considerably leaner than what many economists say is now needed to jolt the economy, given its grave condition.

But it is unclear if Mr. Obama will be able to claim credit for bringing change to Washington by winning bipartisan support for his first major piece of legislation. Not a single House Republican voted for the bill when it came to the floor two weeks ago, and despite many compromises in the Senate, only three Republicans came on board.

I don't see how you come to the conclusion of "better" spending decisions rather than just decisions to spend more, Mr. Ward.

What are the numbers  since the inauguration of President Trump, Mr. Ward? Do they show the GOP keeping winning?

But now you're at a crossroad. You'll either go into flat out fascism or the GOP will go extinct.

You don't want to see it so you'll go with the former.

The GOP already IS extinct…..they just don’t realize it yet. Trump OWNS what is left of the GOP, lock, stock and barrel. He just lets Mitch McConnell think that he is still in charge of the smoking ruin that it has become. If Trump is still around by it’s time to try and get himself re-elected I think the Teabaggers will peel away from the Republithugs to form a new political party around Trump. Naturally they will call it  the American Freedom Party or something like that—something with freedom or liberty in the the title (while having absolutely nothing to do with freedom or liberty or democracy in actual fact).

Americans are going to want people with real guts holding real power to get to the bottom of the murky shithole that is trump and all he touches. Remind all Americans to vote for people with real guts to hold real power to get to the bottom of the murky shithole that is trump and all he touches.

A pimp begets a klan-mob go between who begets a degenerate figurehead for our culture’s worst lies.

The Gingrich revolution has borne its purest fruit, the most repulsive political alliance in modern history.

McConnell and Ryan knew what they were getting into, as did all their colleagues and underlings.

They do nothing because they fear you more than they love their country

If extreme Christianity ruled there would be no borders.  No jails either.  WILD WORLD.  Better for the kids.  Heh.
