Ha!  I'm almost tempted to watch All About Steve.  More than I'm tempted to watch The Blind Side, which looked to be hazardous to diabetics.

It's weird to me that All About Steve is reported to be such a misfire -- it sounds great, strong cast, clever concept (a socially inept newspaper writer/crossword puzzler ends up stalking a newscaster), and I think there's even a Will Shortz cameo for the serious crossword freaks.   So the whole Razzie thing makes me want to see it more.

Can't find a Will Shortz cameo.

Since there's an actual conversation about music going on in Popular Music - and since this is probably not popular, and definitely not music - I bring  you.....
Another Great Shatner Performance

I'd pay to see Shatner and Nimoy....perhaps performing settings of Nimoy's poems.  (although I'm not sure how much I'd pay....)

I just saw Shattner opposite Jim Spader doing a two-some visit to a spa and bonding, as if they weren't already, and resolving their issues that came to a peak from too much togetherness.

Think it is a series that they do or are both on although I have never really watched it through. This caught my attention because of the obvious scenario and I found it amusing to watch two men sitting around in facial masks meant to be good for their skin while providing something of the quality of a minstrel show dealing with the inverse of the usual and might need a title like Metrosexual Vacation. Their dynamics are good together and I realize this has to come from a long term engagement working together on a series. It's like a long run on Broadway; only Longer!

That was weird.  This judge gives the Canadian a 1.2 for vocals, 9.3 for balls.

I know there was somebody here whom I was supposed to post this to because they had been terribly addicted to following the Confused One's death and funeral which I found odd in a woman who passed her first adult birthday decades ago.  I could only read one page of this gallant grandmother put leeches out of her house(obviously not the big three who were walking from their Karate class; in news, the other day, and it appears they really are partially genetically the offspring of that white man who keeps us up to date aware of the fact but wait -- Who was their mother, again?  Would this have anything to do with how much MJ kept  his vitiligo? "Michael Jackson was diagnosed with vitiligo and lupus in 1986."... " It is also thought that his eldest child, Prince Michael Jackson I, has inherited the disease.").

With interest, it was noted that President Obama made a personal statement mourning the loss of Lena Horne whose audacity in standing firmly against segregation when she refused to perform before segregated audiences (I might add, in particular, audiences which included whites in the South who had never been allowed to see her film performances and might be interested to see for themselves what all the fuss was about)is to be honored.

The best interview I ever saw with Lena Horne was the one Ed Bradley did on 60 Minutes. They were so easy with each other, flirting almost. I chuckled with delight. They are both gone now. Some Were Giants.

One of those items too good to pass by. The camera caught part of what might have been a pictorial in which Janet caught the Beyonce look; a trend that may have actually started with Amber Rose. It's the short-cropped cap-style of hair cut last seen in the 1950s by French artist, the dancer Jeanmaire, which signaled the 1940s school-girl and long-haired pin-up queens were passe.

Jackson's voice but, when she recalled the timorous, tremulous voice of Michael, it was all over. Without letting her voice take on his more strident caliber, she let her body take over  his more aggressive style although she will possibly never have the physical tension of his choreography.
