Larry King asked Paris her favorite passage from the Bible and completely stumped her. After some nervous looking around and shuffling paper, she said she doesn't really have a favorite.

Yup...that was the highlight.   Everything was so carefully scripted, but they obviously didn't anticipate that question.  Anyone that had just ready "any" book would be able to tell you what their favorite part is -- wouldn't they?

The only possible explanation is that her "favorite parts," she realized, she could not repeat on the air as they were contrary to this new image she was attempting to build.  She wouldn't be the first inmate that read the bible for the steamy parts...

More likely she never actually opened it though...

Why has nobody come in here to remark on Al Gore's son? ... typical of his class, Gore's youngster was driving his Prius about 2:30 L.A. time while smoking dope and the ossifer who stopped him found lots of prescription drugs for which young Gore had no prescriptions!

It will be interesting to see if his driver's license is taken away...and if he continues to drive anyway...and if he goes to jail for 21 days...

The Bible has steamy parts? I may have to investigate this.

How odd, Catholics do it just the opposite.

Let's all tell Harrie the good parts of the books, if we can remember where the parts are. I'm too old to remember.

You get through the eucharist faster and just continue down the side aisle....

Song of Solomon would have been described as pornography by Tipper Gore if she hadn't known better.

Quite possibly she didn't.  It's not included in every "edition" and doesn't read the same from approved changes made from the original language.

No comments on the Mika Brzezinski story making the rounds?

I read it at some point but it has by now dropped out of my mind whatever the flap was about(and I know it was a flap;I need to get input at least twice for it to stick and take on dimension in connection with something else). Unfortunately, I'm not getting the you-tube through and might have to ask the computer if it thinks it needs a nap?

She just refused to talk about Paris Hilton on her show...why should that create a flap.   Good for her...

I agree -- and wish more "news" people did the same thing.

Paris' buddy Nicole is fully engulfed in her due process now as well, having won a slight continuance in order to have an expert witness ready to testify that her drug test was improperly carried out...

I believe the two of them are going to have a new show out next season:  The Sinful Life

Wait, don't tell me -- you're here 'til Thursday, try the veal.

Nicole is pregnant, right?  So if she should become a jailhouse mama, does the baby get a tiny orange jumpsuit?

Perhaps we should all start wearing them, orange Jumpsuits.  Although it is not a flattering color for me. I loved a black jump suit inherited from my son after he had been a pit-stop mechanic for Augie Pabst. They are so slimming.
