It seems that this poll has grown a little old.  Maybe most annoying reality show?

Britney was a fairly attractive young girl with marginal talent - not a strong vocalist by any stretch.  Even she would admit this.  Now her looks are fading as will always happen...

What she seems to be having a problem with right now is reality...  she has fired everyone of her advisors and doesn't talk to her family, presumably because they are all telling her things she doesn;t want to here.

My wife made me watch Britney's MTV awards performance because she thought it was "too funny"   I didin;t think it was so bad, but she definitely did not look confident.  It looked like they threw the whole routine together in a day or two and she didn;t have it memorized.  Either that or she was on drugs...

She probably should not have chosen that outfit either -- she's not 18 anymore and she's had two children...

Trojan, I hear you on the Britney thing -- if Page Six is at all correct (which is a 50/50 proposition at best), Britney is primarily the one to blame for everything.  Except for MTV hiring her, of course.   Reportedly, she 1) eventually showed up at rehearsal hours late, frozen margarita in hand;  and 2) rejected the outfit MTV chose in favor of the sparkly undie set she sported.

Here's the Page Six link:  http://www.nypost.com/seven/09112007/gossip/pagesix/pagesix.htm

The thing is, though, MTV could have stopped this train wreck.  In the week leading up, there were stories that MTV had BS on a tight leash and expected her to rehearse and act professionally -- and if she didn't, she was out.  So when she became 5 minutes late for rehearsal, someone at MTV should have called up Kanye West; I'm sure he could have put something together and then maybe we wouldn't hear him whining so much.  But MTV had a win-win on their hands:  If BS came through, MTV would be her savior, giving her the opportunity to save her career, having confidence in the plucky, if misguided, entertainer.  If BS failed....guess what?  We're all talking about it.  MTV wins.

And while I'm at it, I want to thank oilcanboyd for turning me on the thesuperficial.com -- great, sarcastic gossip website.   In fact, I may have stolen the MTV can't lose proposition thing from them -- so if I did, footnote thesuperficial.com.

I think that is exactly correct.  They knew people would tune in precisely so they could watch the train wreck...

Britney just needs to find her bottom, literally, she used to have one and I can't see it anymore.

No, I love Britney, but live by the pricktease die by the pricktease.

I don't know if K-Fed will make any better Dad than Britney has been a Mom, but I guess the judge didn't like what he say in dear Britney.  I really feel sorry for those two kids.

While I feel sorry for the kids, I'm not sure its a great precedent to be setting to be awarding custody

I think he means the kids are being used more as punishment for Britney's act with the judge.

My mom would love that Von Trapp lodge...that was one of her favorite movies of all time.

She's from Germany and she used to spend summers in Bavaria.  We all went to Salzburg in 1970.

Looks like they did a nice job of recreating everything...
