There was nowhere near this much smoke last year.

yup

too many hyped guys all sitting near the top of the draft.

I saw Darnold and Rosen play around 4 games each this year and i thought there was regression from both guys.

But who knows they may be the next guy.

I thought Mayfield was the best "pro" QB I saw this year.

and then Callahan.

had to.

heh

I think Manziel was a better college QB than Mayfield and that Mayfield has some of the same non-football issues that Manziel had.  I have to believe his going first is a huge smokescreen.

the BMOC swagger element is certainly there with Mayfield, as is that he's small for the position. i don't know about the party element/total a-hole that messed up Manziel.

I think theres a whole lot of poker being played now.

Darnold may be the "safe" choice or trading for a basket of picks and letting someone else gamble and go all in.

Also, small hands. And you know what that means. Small hands, can't trust 'em. In the winter, when the ball gets slippery.

I think - think we are in get talent mode, rather than get draft choices. Unless Bflo offers three 1s I do not see even trading the 4. I would take Darnold.and Barkley or Chubb, depending on who is left. But if three QBs are.off the board that 4th pick could be worth a lot
