No CFB on NY Eve?

Must be the declining ratings.

Great to see the grace and class with which haters respond to an Ohio State victory.

Almost the same as a certain ND hater's class and grace after a 50 year Irish "victory" and National Championship.

Good game from the Buckeyes last night. USC's poor offensive play IMO was mostly a direct result of excellent defensive play by the Buckeyes. They forced turnovers and pressured very well. Congratulations D'man, your team played a great game. That Buckeye defense should be a force once again next season I think.

Well, Troj.  Your defense held the Almighty BuckNuts to 277 total yds.  I am guessing that is below their average.

The officiating was poor from the start.  Even the coin toss was botched as the lady had no clue how to
"Flip" a coin (Where's Banks?) and might as well have laid the coin down with the BuckNut side up.
A good official would have said, "Let's try that again!"

Your Head Coach seemed to approach this game as a "fun" activity for the outgoing seniors and the game itself as a "friendly" with the other team.  Hugh mistake.

The laid back PAC 12 has used the same approach throughout the pre-playoff undercard of games.  Personally,
I don't blame them as these games are meaningless to everyone but the tv people and the bowl organizers who are stuffing their wallets with the money the players provide by THEIR work.

Your QB, aka. "The face of college football " picked a bad night to get another facial on the big stage.
Like I said, "Play it  again, Sam", back in Trojan Village.  The NFL can wait.

Well, onto the real playoff games that count, that mean something and that have the four best teams.

Nice season, Troj,  Fight ON!  A start searching for a new head coach now.

deej I missed the coin flip, but its tough to screw it up, unless it rolls under the sofa, which I have been known to do.

and fwiw I got bored at 17-0, and started channel surfing.

from what i gather I didn't miss much.

I saw it. I don't think the thing flipped at all. Poor old lady seemed to be dazed the whole time. I hope she's okay.

Only if you like pigskin turnovers (4)and sacks (9?) of potatoes getting whipped to a froth.

The guys escorting the grand dame of the cotton bowl who tried to flip the coin told her right away she screwed up.  She took the phrase "coin toss" literally and just tossed it to the ground without a single spin of the coin.
The official was so shocked he didn't know what to do.
The Trojans never recovered.

I will try to reach someone at Cotton Bowl HQ to find out for you.  The escorts really worked her over on the way to her luxury suite.

Darnold passed his audition to be the next Brown's QB with flying colors.
Well, he certainly looked bad enough to qualify for the Browns. I worry about his mobility, though. The Browns are a quarterback-killing unit. You need to be able to run for your life if you want to avoid the IR list when playing for them.
Actually, the offensive line is a relative strength, even with the best offensive lineman in the history of the franchise, old and new, on the shelf.  Kizer has no receivers to throw to, and poor decision making skills, which keeps him in the pocket too long.

Great to see the grace and class with which haters respond to an Ohio State victory.

Yeah, I was thinking about it and I was wrong to talk sh!t about any team that just won its bowl game.  I don't really hate tosu in some all-consuming way, and unless I can come up with something remotely clever I should shut the fu<k up and let people enjoy the games while football is still here.

Not that I could prevent anyone from enjoying a victory, just an admission that it serves no purpose and was ill-timed, whatever I said.

Enjoy the games fellas.
