Yankees' lead is down to 8 games.

Sox and Os have 18 hits apiece after 7.5 innings. 15-10 for the Orioles. No 1-2-3 innings, yet.

It did not get better.

Nice job, Yanks.  Mets didnt quit and NYY were able to win 2 without their A relievers.

Mets get a rare Wed. off ahead of home 4 game series with Rockies.  The lead on Atlanta is TWO games.

Phils meanwhile now second wild card, with 2 game cushion on MIL and SD

Meanwhile ----

Tor, TB and Sea are all 8-2 over last 10

And Orioles -  having gone 5-5 -  have moved 4.5 off the WC pace.

Seattle is much better than we are.

Wonderful year for NY teams. Two different routes; up and down Yanks VS steady Mets.

I should probably wait until we actually clinch because Cleveland, but I love this iteration of the Gaurdians so much. I had no qctual real expectations of them this year, it was going to be a Cleveland Rebuild where you win about 76 games while developing kids and trading off some pieces parts. I doubt we do much in the post season, though (spoiler alert) i will be picking them to win the World Series, but it has been fun.

I like the CLE pitching.   Bullpen has some impressive hits allowed and K/BB stats.  Bunch of nonames.  Nice.  (And thanks for the info on McKenzie earlier - he has been real good)

Damn good Sox infield next year if Xander stays.

And if Story recovers.

Cassas will be there if he can get his AAA hitting up to align with everything before - or if he comes up and does it at the Major League level.

Over Hosmer?  Get out a town.

Still think that Hosmer is better than Casas?
