Kevin McCarthy delivered .
A spending cut of2 trillion dollars ( maybe more through appropriation legislation)  and a stunning political coup.

Good riddance

You are a delusional ass face. None of the few people who can stand your presence take a single word you say seriously.

Keep drinking from the toilet though. At this point nothing you do can either improve or threaten your health.

He's correct about people disrespecting the anthem with protests.

Nationals' pitcher Williams says he's 'deeply troubled' by it...says it insults his religion.

Seems today if you're gay you can basically insult anyone you like with impunity.

"Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence" are said by some to be 'mostly gay men'.

Bud Light
Target

have suffered massive financial loss because of boycotts.

Maybe time for a baseball boycott?
The existence of gay and transgendered persons is not an insuit to any rational religion. Kershaw, Williams, you and the rest of the cancel culture that want to boycott Target and Bud Light are haters who want LGBTQ people to disappear, and are trying to boycott products simply because they acknowledge LGBTQ people exist and buy things. Using faith as a cover for your hatred offends my Catholic faith way way more than any gentle mocking of constituent group names you stinking cube of wallaby poo. (Hi bart!)

America seems to have gone into decline since Christians have 'disappeared'.
Time for a "rise from the dead".
Time for Christian folk to act.
Hate of any of God's creatures is not Christian. It is hate.

Oh, mocking nuns is 'gentle mocking', and that's OK?  Well it's not OK.

LGBTQIA+ folk have a right to exist, and have a parade...equality.
They should not have the right to go mocking Christian nuns.

They started the war.
Kershaw and Williams are to be thanked and praised for speaking out (maybe at great risk to their careers, that commentator was sacked for saying 'all lives matter').
Should be given medals.
You stupid, stupid, stupid little hateful man. THEY started it? Good lord gay people have been mocked and ostracized and hated and jailed and killed by followers of organized religion for centuries and you think THEY started it? They could peal Christianity like a pear and God himself would call it justice.

Specifically, look at the name of the organization. Gay men. Sisters. Do you seriously think that started as a badge of pride? It was an insult that they have embraced and weaponized. The people who started it were the people who mocked the LGBGQ+ community.

And I will believe Kershaw's real problem is with mocking religion and not Gay people when he starts protesting staging of Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All for You, or speaks out against Charlie Hebdo cartoons.

The existence of gay and transgendered persons is not an Inuit to any rational religion.

Reading the posts of you and Bambu is akin to watching a Cobra and Mongoose fight.  Who cares who wins?
The existence of rational religion is not an insult to gay, transgendered, or other marginalized people.

The Sisters ofPerpetualIndulgence is a qualified and successful non profit trying to help marginalized people who are victims of bigotry.
Their tactics rankle Catholics and other religious leaders and politicians.
The mistake by the Dodgers was not explaining why the Sisters were being presented an honor during Pride Night and compounding the error by  kowtowing to political pressure and canceling the Sisters.
Then a backlash from Sisters supporters got them reinstated.
And then Chaos.
Kershaw  defended his religion without criticizing gays which he would never do. He has been outspoken on his faith throughout his career which includes a book. Arise: Live Out Your Faith and Dreams on Whatever Field You Find Yourself.
He also convinced the Dodgers to relaunch Christian Faith and Family Day at Dodger Stadium on July 30th.The Dodgers last held such an event in 2019 and Kershaw is determined to make it bigger and better than it was before COVID.[/

That certainly explains the reaction of the far right to the deal.

The debt ceiling deal is is in fact exactly what Biden has always been, for good and bad. Pragmatic, bipartisan liberal deal making.

Well, hate certainly defines you.
Bud Light, Target, Kohls, et al,simply  lost sight of their customer base who liked their defined brands over the years without the controversy of social Justice. It is reminiscent of the idiocy ofColinKapernicke who was shocked, SHOCKED I TELL YOU, that Americans would rebel against desecrating the National Anthem over a selfish job search.
It does highlight the hypocrisy of the right bemoaning liberal "cancel culture". Their only issue is and always has been that they are not the ones doing the canceling.

Sure. That is why democrats are supporting spending cuts.
The upcoming appropriation  votes will not make Bernie and Lizzie very happy.

Christians and Jews have been persecuted too, it is not just the gays whom have suffered through the years.

And that was the reason why the Puritans came to America was for religious freedom. And the Pope and the Catholic Church assisted with the exploration and settling of the new world for religious freedom.

We try hard in the USA to have good rights for everyone. And we have the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the Civil Rights Act of 1968, as we work to have good rights for all people.

And we have the Anti Defamation League to stop hate, and we need to respect the rights of all people.

Salute,

Tony V.

Yes, the nature of bipartisan governing is that no one is ever really happy. But Sanders and Warren will be less unhappy than Matty and Marge unless McCarthy is willing to blow the whole thing up for them.

A bit ironic that Kershaw, who has been supportive of previous Pride Nights, couldn't see past the detail of tongue-in-cheek costumes to the larger picture of a group that was being honored for providing comfort to the sick and dying.  As for the Wallaby Briquette, when does he ever see beyond the distorting lens image offered by his media masters?

stunning political coup was one of Jimdick's most breathless pieces of RW hagiography.  Yeah, roflmao is what it deserves.  At least two of those words do not mean what he thinks they mean.
