Biden out-raises Trump by $154 million in August, 2020.

Biden: $364 million
Trump: $210 million

And that was before The Trump Tapes hit the news.

83 to 59 per cent.

What's that, you ask?

The comparison of Trump voters to Biden's when asked the question, "Are you voting FOR your guy or AGAINST the other?"

Just 59 per cent Biden voters are motivated by their candidate.

Wow.

With as big a disaster as Trump has been, I am surprised it is not more.

But my bet is that was Rasmussen or his cousins.

I find those anonymous cut/pasted paragraphs of partisan spin so... compelling!
Anonymous?  Try learning to read.

Shame on Joe for thinking h1n1 could be more severe and thus recommending travel restrictions and avoiding confined spaces!
Gee.  That was the reaction of Obama and his staff.
So they admonished Joe, played down the threat. 60 million Americans got sick   But luckily they Swine Flu caused only minimal deaths.

So, they wrote up what they learned. And they changed how they staffed it.

And Trump actively through away the manual (later claiming it was too out of date, which it wasn't - I posted it here. You ignored it, Ward.) And he fired the people Obama had put in place to watch for the next one.

Yep, all Biden's fault!

The White House "explanation" for Trump's deception and Trump's own responses...

just dig deeper.

And there is so much more to that book than "just" the COVID-19 story.

I could go on creating new SNs for Kid to block as soon as he sees them, I suppose.

It's mildly amusing.

Heh

I doubt he feels your advice is wise or helpful.

Mary Trump is already yesterday's news.  Nobody cares.

Woodward doesn't drive voting.  Never has.

But he - as is his goal - does make bucks off his prose.

It's not his books that will drive voting.

It's the tapes of Trump talking that will drive voting.

And your ongoing quotes of made-up stats from Rasmussen have even less content than your subjectless tweets.

(I didn't even realize that the NFL was set to begin this weekend and I haven't watched one pitch of MLB 2020 yet)

I was going to watch MLB, but I ended up watching the Red Sox, instead. (Even if they don't have the worst winning percentage at the moment.)

Military advisors are “fucking pussies”.

Said Trump, according to Bob Woodward.

And... it turns out that it is not a matter of Woodward's credibility. He has the tapes to support all of what is in his book that he claims Trump said. (Some are in the CNN link I already posted.)

This is about the rise of white nationalism in our schools.

Everybody here except Ward, Kid, and Bambi will want to read this. Ward will LOL, Kid will deny, and Bambi will make some sort of mealy-mouthed response.

This type of comment is not helpful to the forum

Just an FYI

If you need to vent, try another method

Do you believe that the white supremacy movement is an increasing threat within our schools?

Did you look at the tool kit?

In the unlikely event that you did so, do you agree with what it has to say?

Woodward says that Trump knew about the coronavirus, both how dangerous it was and that it impacted folks other than the elderly.

As of February 7th, he admitted to intentionally understating the risk and kept doing it.

So much for blaming the Chinese for understating the risk...

And Woodward says he has tapes.

They also cover things like racial unrest. Ought to be fascinating.

I'm pretty sure UAE and Israel never were at war or fought against each other.  So peace deal is a misnomer, they established diplomatic relations.  In and of itself it's not much, but as a potential signal that more Arab countries will shaft the Palestinians and buddy up to the Israelis, and not incidentally help Netanyahu stay in power, it is significant.  Talk is tiny Bahrain and adrift Oman might be next up.  At least this deal didn't cost the US billions of dollars.  And this could provide a minor boost to the Israel economy.

Unclear how much we are gaining or losing on the UAW F-35 deal. Also unclear if the F-35 deal with kill the "peace" deal.

It's okay with Kid and Ward if Trump does these illegal things.

Always has been. Most of Trump's (remaining) constituency feels the same way.

"He's not an ordinary politician," they have told us repeatedly. And it's true - he's a con man, not a politician.

The "Law and Order" President was once again breaking the law, this time in North Carolina.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/09/08/politics/donald-trump-north-carolina-2020-election/index.html

Trump, campaign crowd appear to violate North Carolina mask order

Nothing new here. The man is a criminal and a scofflaw, both, and he inspires others to break the law, too.

Quote
Plyler -- a top Republican official in the county Trump is visiting -- said the situation on the ground there should warrant a change in the President's mask-wearing behavior.

"We've got 6,000 people with the virus right now in this county. And the latest statistic is, out of the 6,000, I think is that 86 have passed away from it," he told CNN. "My concern is -- we've got the virus here. The virus doesn't give a rip whether it's the President or God Almighty himself. It's going to find its place. And the way we have to figure this, at least in my mind, is that we all have to be careful about it."

I'm in no way sure that Biden/Harris/Pelosi/Sanders would go to war with China to save Australia, Japan, Vietnam
etc.

Vietnam?
Didn't we do that already?

Ho, Ho, Ho.
