Voit has had 207 plate appearances. Rizzon has had 105. Duh, Voit has had more homers and RBIs.
Rizzo has 27 runs produced (runs + rbis - HRs_. Voit has 46, in slightly more than twice the ABs and slightly less than twice the PAs.

However, your original post was about their previous weeks and you claimed, bizarrely, that Rizzo would never be about the Mendoza line while he was above it!!

So, again, what point are you trying to make? Voit is not currently hitting better than Rizzo.

Voit didn't need replacing, but you seem to forget: From July 12 through Aug 7, Luke played a total of ZERO games. So, they traded for Rizzo.

For Voit's first 10 games back in the line up, he hit .243 and his OPS was .804.

For the time that Rizzo joined the club through Aug 7, he hit .281 and his OPS was .963. Then he was out on the COVID list.

But your bullshit about Voit's superiority has no basis in fact and your complaint about the acquisition sounds like a fanboy, not a thinking man.

You want to argue that since Rizzo returned to the club, Voit has been a better hitter?

I'll simply agree with you.

But the Yankees did well to have acquired him when they did and had he not gotten COVID, he might be a better hitter now than Voit is now. Impossible to no.

Overall, during Voit's year compared to Rizzo's year for the Yankees, Rizzo has been a more effective hitter as well as for average.

Luee, the acquisition you should be unhappy with is Joey Gallo. He's hitting .136 and has an OPS around .630 at the moment, in his time with the Yankees. One full season batting over .210 ever. Even in the years when he his more than 40 homers, his was just not that good, overall.
