Lotta happy drinks in Boston, right now.

Almost like he knew what pitch was coming.

Hmmm....

MLB.co "experts" picks

8-2 in favor of Dodgers
7-3 in favor of Yanks

https://www.mlb.com/news/2021-mlb-playoff-expert-predictions

They also predicted that Houston would win the WS in 2018 and that NY would beat Boston in the ALDS. Oh, and the Dodgers would not make it to the World Series.

Thanks for the link.
Do you have any links to articles picking the Yankees in the 2018 ALDS? The Red Sox were pretty solid favorites, they won 8 more games than the Yankees that season and the Yankees ace, (such as it was) wasn't going to pitch until Game 3 of that series.

Toyota.

DeRosa? One guy hardly makes a "they" (gender fluidity pronoun revisions aside).  As I said the Red Sox were pretty substantial favorites over the Yankees in 2018 and turning that team into a "little engine that could" to make a point about this season's predictions makes no sense.

There were two, Yank, not one. They happened to agree.

2018 Yankees won 100 games

They had won 6 of 8 entering ALDS

Red Sox had lost 7 of 11

Chris Russo has made this point for years.

It's all part of the inconsistent nature of MLB.

Teams are playing in the wrong division, two sets of rules depending on which league you play in, etc.

Tonight, Cole's fastball lacks movement.
And accuracy.

He's gone.

Pulled a Kershaw.

Here's a drinking game my brother and I play when watching games played in Fenway.

Every time you see a minority in the stands, you drink.

So, far we've each had one drink.

When does the pitcher come up?

Oh, right...

This isn't baseball.

Who is first up after Nate?

Depends on where they are in the game, I think.

Sawamura, Whitlock, and Taylor are possibilities. I think we won't see Matt Barnes until later in the game. Ditto Ottavino.

If the game is tight and it has gone smoothly into the 6th or 7th, I don't expect Garrett Richards. Robles may well make an appearance in the 9th.
