A rarity these days --> a Red Sox walk off over the Yankees in extra innings after falling behind by 2 in the top of the 10th!

Yankees fans upset. Worried they won't win in October. Blame Joey Gallo.

Considering the specificity, very definitely a rarity.

Phillies are 24 and 10 with Rob Thomson as Manager, and are in the WC standings. And that's with losing starting pitching, Bryce Harper playing injured, then out altogether. Somehow the Bullpen has come around, the situational hitting and the defense has improved.

CAn he keep it going post-All-Star break? Wait and see, but it would help it Nick Castellanos drove in more runs.

True enough.

The Yankees were also without a loss this season when leading after the 7th inning until last night.

Rumor mill going about dual trades.  One bringing in Tendi for at least one solid prospect.  The other moving Gallo but also sending cash to the "suitor".

Red Sox came back from down 4-0 and 6-2.

The Yankees' "defense" sure helped that along. They looked like we did a couple games ago.

FTR I still love Frankie. I do not hold his failure to be Jose Ramirez against him. I hope his bat comes back around, but I assume his D is as magical as ever.

Cards win by a great slide.

Today's game determines a series win or a series tie.

Braves have it down to 1.5 games. Finishing in first at the All-Star break will give Mets fans that old familiar feeling. Angst.
