That one cannot appeal the "dropped" 3rd strike is absurd and had a material effect on the game. If Judge is out instead of given another chance, then the RS can walk Stanton (as Arod said) and the game changes, a ton.

But it is not Joe West's fault that a meatball was thrown to Stanton and deposited deep into the night.
