I would not have been surprised to see this one end at 2-1 and was very gratified by the back-to-back homers. I agree that Dusty was caught off guard by the first one and had too little time to scramble.

This series is, generally speaking, a lot tighter than the one the Astros had to get here.

America hates the Astros more than they like Dusty Baker.

America hopes the Braves close it out, tonight

Zack Greinke did his job, though.

Braves lefties are shutting down Houston the way they shut down LA.

Pitching and defense usually wins.

For me, it is that it has been so much longer since the Braves won than the Astros have.

Greinke was amazing.

Can the Braves close it out tonight?!

Jerry Remy has passed after a long battle with cancer.

Jerry was a small ballplayer with a big game and a bigger heart.

Jerry impacted many Sox fans in positive ways as both a hustling and very talented player and in his latter years an entertaining,  informative and insightful TV analyst. He was very good.

And we prayed for Jerry's relief from this terrible disease.

A sad day for RSN and baseball fans.

Remy was the guy taking kickbacks from beer distributors for his restaurant.

And his kid is a convicted murderet.

So...a...uh...

Crook.

But RSN's crook, so RIP, Remy.

Remy WAS an asshole, yes, the evidence is there.

But he was YOUR asshole, so RIP, banksy.

Great kids. Besides the murderer son, Jordan Remy was arrested for underage possession of alcohol, but the charges were dismissed, according to Sports Grind.

In 2013, the Somerville Times reported that Jenna Remy was arrested for resisting arrest, wanton malicious defacement, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, disorderly conduct and misdemeanor breaking and entering for breaking into her ex-boyfriend

Wow, with kids like that he needs to RIP.

But at least the family fit in with other Bostonians.

My interaction with Remy was 1-way. I enjoyed him as a ballplayer and as a color guy. He was good at what he did, and it seems for all his faults, he had friends and colleagues who loved and respected him.

But he wasn't my asshole.

You, on the other hand, I interact with on a 2-way basis. While limited in nature, I have a more nuanced and developed relationship and have more insight into your character.

And I can say without a moment's hesitation, you're a nasty fucking asshole, who produces nothing but shit.

Now wash and wipe yourself, you smell like you.

Sorry, your hero has feet of clay, with the stink of criminal behavior attached.

Hero?

No.

Just a ballplayer and entertainer who died from a terrible disease that he fought for years, and to whom I paid my respects on that basis.

You know, what normal people do.

Oh, right, never mind.

But Hammy human or not, you should still wash and wipe yourself as you still reek of shit.

A terrible self-inflicted disease. For 16 years, his wife begged him to quit smoking. He didn't.

Oh, well.

Your inability to accept reality is clouding your judgement, Homer.
