Any chance I might have thought of Kavanagh as angry over being wrongly accused went away when he started talking about the 2016 3lection and the Clintons.Flake (that pathetic sad-sac) said yesterday that this was all so very complex—so many different aspects to this…..No, there are not. In the absence of any other testimony, this is all very simple. One of these people is telling the truth and one of them is lying. It’s not as if Kav is arguing that he was there but didn’t do anything to Ford. It’s not as if he was arguing the details of this or that. He’s claiming that he wasn’t there at all, and she’s claiming that the face that was six inches from her face as he held his hand over her mouth was his. A clear choice…..you either believe her clear and concise description of the event or you believe the histrionic self defense that he presented, complete with angry shouting, pitiful crying and attempts to drag his own family into his self-made pity-party.
The second part of the day where the Republithugs jettisoned their imported woman prosecutor was not an attempt to find out anything from Kavenaugh. It was a naked display of how the Pugs were going jam his appointment through come hell or high water. Pure and simple.
These Republicans MUST be voted out of office. As many of them as possible. There can be no higher priority.
It also must be noted and remembered what a tremendous coward Jeff Flake has proven to be and that he should never be given any serious consideration for any elected office ever again.
