I told my cousin in Oregon...

The immigrants will help the homeless people. I have a friend from the Philippines who has been helping the homeless people for over 30 years. She came to America and she owned her own businesses, she owned a night club in Los Angeles called "Manila Gardens" and she has always helped the homeless people.

And my Doctor is from the Philippines, so some of the new immigrants are doctors, and some go to school here to become doctors, etc.

The guy who founded Universal Studios was from Germany.

Nikola Tesla was an immigrant from Serbia.

Everyone came from somewhere, and many new immigrants do great things, and there are immigrants who will come here and help all of the homeless people, doctors will come here and give the homeless people health care, and everything.

Republicans are really too funny in their attempts to avoid facing any responsibility for enabling the liar in the Oval.

McConnell is asked if it is true that the Majority Leader said that Trump’s call with Ukraine was “perfect” as Trump has claimed on a number occasions, or if the “president” had lied about that interaction.

McConnell responded “You’d have to ask him.”

This is so stupid for a number of reasons.  One, obviously asking Trump if he lied is not going to get you a reliable response.  But mostly, why would the reporter have to ask Trump?  He is telling a story about an interaction with you Senator.  You would know if he is lying, so it is therefore perfectly valid for the reporter to be asking you about it.

But the “Well you would have to ask the President that” response is so often used and so predictable.  And, btw and this is no small thing, an abdication of a Senator’s Constitutional responsibility to oversee the Executive.
