Rich Hill did nothing to encourage the Red Sox to put him in the 2022 rotation.

I imagine that means he'll be one of our starters.

City of Anaheim- Municipal Government

Welcome back to the Big A!

The 2022 baseball season in Anaheim (unofficially) starts Sunday as it always does with a preseason matchup against freeway rivals the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Tonight's game is the first for the Angels back at the Big A after a shortened spring training in Tempe, Ariz.

Games two and three of the preseason freeway series take place at Dodger Stadium on Monday and Tuesday.

Then the Halos are back for the official home opener on Thursday versus division rivals the Houston Astros, the first of a four-game series through Sunday.

The homestand continues on April 11 and 12 against the Florida Marlins before a mid-April road trip to Texas.

Then the Angels are back home in late April, including for a four-game series against the newest name in baseball, the Cleveland Guardians, formerly the Indians.

With the return of Mike Trout, the debut of Noah Syndergaard and Shohei Ohtani picking up where he left off, Angel hopes are high for 2022.

And the people of the City of Anaheim own Angel Stadium, it is owned by the people.
