Meanwhile, across the seas...

Older Australian women are becoming homeless in record numbers

#####

An absolute disgrace.
Someone's mom, someone's sister.

Fast becoming like America, where older American women are homeless in great numbers...one such woman living in a tent was shown on Youtube, terribly incontinent, a man from a doctor group trying to assist her live a better life in her squalor.

Yes, like that link posted in Elba yesterday..."the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer".

Hopefully the person at the top, in each country, will soon wake up one morning and say "enough is enough", and DO something to solve the problem.

Australia can learn from Italy, Italy has hostels where people can shower and sleep in a bed for $15 per night.

And now in Los Angeles Mayor Bass is working to help the homeless, she is using City money to buy old hotels to use as temporary housing for the homeless, etc, and Mayor Bass is working hard to help the homeless. It is about time, the homeless crisis in Los Angeles has been bad for a long time.

In Orange County we have Wellness Centers where people can go to get help, and we have the Mental Health Association in Santa Ana, etc.

And Orange County has Sober Living Homes for the homeless...

Flagmans Sober Living Homes has both Male and Female beds available.

(714) 745-0948

Housing for the homeless in Orange County, California.

Some of the Sober Living Homes have swimming pools, etc.

And the City Hall in Anaheim has a Housing Authority with a big budget to help the homeless in Orange County.

Progress is happening. We just need to care and we need to take action to help the homeless.

And yes Bambu, we need for the rich people at the top to care about the poor homeless people who are on the bottom. We need for our society to care about each other and to help each other.

Salute,

We need to help the homeless by any means necessary, and there is no shame when it comes to feeding starving people and getting the homeless into housing.

On the issue of the Mental Health Association in Santa Ana, California, a lady named Darlene Powell went to Washington D.C. and she begged for help to help the mentally ill and homeless people of Orange County, and Washington D.C. gave her sixty million dollars to help the people of Orange County. She then went to the City, the County, the State, and to wealthy private donors for more money to help the homeless people of Orange County. Wealthy people from the Philippines also came to Orange County and helped the homeless people of Orange County.

On the issue of the Anaheim Housing Authority, we the people of Anaheim own Angel Stadium, and we own many other properties, including the Convention Center, etc, and we also own the Electric Company in Anaheim, and some of the money from our assets goes towards helping the homeless people of Anaheim. Currently the City of Anaheim spends one hundred million dollars per year to help the homeless people of Anaheim.

Plus, we have Disneyland and Disney is altruistic here and helps the people of Anaheim.

And people can do like Paul Newman did and they can set up companies for the sole purpose of doing charity work, Newman's Own is still doing charity work long after the passing of Paul Newman, may he rest in peace, Paul Newman was a great man.

Famous Amos also helped people and was altruistic.

Rudy Giuliani was hired to be a consultant a long time ago in Mexico, to teach Mexico how to reduce crime, etc.

https://www.theintelligencer.com/news/article/Mexico-Hires-Giuliani-As-Consultant-10556900.php

Rudy did a great job in New York City reducing crime with the Broken Window Theory, etc, and there are many things that Rudy can teach to Mexico, it would be great if Rudy could go to Mexico right now and teach the Mexicans how to make things better in Mexico.

Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador

Every 15 days we report on the progress of actions to guarantee the people's right to health in Mexico. We are solving structural problems to lift the public system and cleanse it of corruption. Follow the call for doctors and specialists, even retired, for the purpose of strengthening the IMSS Health Plan together.

Serving young people and permanently reporting on the harms of drugs, helps prevent consumption, mainly among young people.

The most important thing is to give opportunities and encourage togetherness in families.

More info: https://bit.ly/3BTq9J6

-------

The President of Mexico is doing his best to improve the situation in Mexico, and he is trying to strengthen their health care system, etc, and prevent illegal drug use, etc.

I would send Rudy Giuliani to help the President of Mexico, Rudy really is a smart man, and he needs to stop supporting Trump and he needs to go to Mexico where he is desperately needed.

And Mexico needs to build schools and libraries big time, along with orphanages for the orphans, etc.

The Catholic Church is also an ally in Mexico.

And I went to Mexico to do charity work with Youth For Christ when I was a teen.

How does one support a think tank?

Check, cash or for right wing think tanks they also eagerly accept hard drugs.

Their normal state of drug addled deterioration is why so called constitutional originalists are always fundamentally incoherent and self-contradictory.

A lot of those tanks like the heritage foundation hold fluids so cloudy they really need to be fully cleaned out.

Speaking of Mexico.

25 million people live in a 60 mile radius of the active volcano, that is now 'activating'.
That's not good.

Tina Turner...

In the late 1980s Tina came to Australia, signed to a campaign to promote rugby league footy.

My paper today, on her passing;

Former Australian Rugby League Boss Ken Arthurson has hailed Tina Turner as the "warm and bubbly" megastar who made the NRL a sporting juggernaut.

"She was such a lovely lady - she got on with everybody and was an outstanding person,"  Arthurson said.

What a lovely lady she was and what a fantastic job she did for rugby league when she was in Australia."
We were all involved in the Simply the Best campaign and she was so magnificent and easy to work with.

I am saddened by the news of her passing.
She will be missed by so many."

Another sad day in America

DeSantis is looking for political advice from Liz Truss or the head of lettuce that outlasted her.

Well, the Brits had enough sense to get rid of Truss,  we can not even get rid
of George Washington Santos.

That would just be cruel, to discard a Holocaust survivor.

Meanwhile, I see that DeSantis launched his campaign by telling us he was scrupulously avoiding corporate media and instead launched himself on a platform owned by a corporate billionaire!

We need to train more doctors and psychiatrists.

If the youth have the aptitude to be a doctor then we need to make sure that poverty, etc, does not stop people from becoming doctors. If they have what it takes to be a doctor or a psychiatrist then we need to make sure that they are able to succeed.

And we have homeless people who have potential who can help other people after they are helped, they can manage homeless shelters, they can be crisis intervention specialists, they can be van drivers, etc, etc, etc, and some can become nurses, and doctors, and psychiatrists, etc.

I have a friend who is a doctor, she is an Oncologist, but when she was a teen she was a homeless prostitute who was addicted to heroin, she joined Narcotics Anonymous and she got clean, and then she got back into school, and she stayed in school and she worked hard until she became an Oncologist. Now she has a beautiful home on the beach in Huntington Beach and she has a wonderful family with a handsome son, she is very grateful.

If people have what it takes to become a doctor or a psychiatrist, then we need to make sure that they succeed, regardless of their past situations, etc. We have a huge shortage of doctors and psychiatrists and we need to train more people, if they have the aptitude then we need to help them to reach their potential.

Governor Newsom is thinking about sending Oprah Winfrey to Congress to replace Diane Feinstein.

https://nypost.com/2023/05/24/gavin-newsom-could-tap-oprah-to-replace-feinstein-in-senate-report/

I like Oprah, always have, and I love the movie "The Color Purple" in which she did a fantastic job. ( One time when I lived in Malibu I was standing in line at the grocery store with Loretta Swit from the television show MASH, and we were standing next to a rack of tabloid magazines, and Loretta said she hated that kind of stuff, and she said that she hated day-time television. At which point I brought up Oprah, who I said was a bright spot on day-time television, and I mentioned "The Color Purple" and Loretta agreed that Oprah is cool. )

I would support sending Oprah to D.C. to represent my state in the Senate.

Don Jr is coming to Australia for a speaking tour, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane.
July 2023.

"Landmark Australian Tour"

"You've already lost the battle if you're afraid to fight".

#####

Why?
The nation is full of leftists.

Maybe Sky might be able to whip up crowds for him.
If not..."rent a crowd" will go if the tickets are free.
