Bibi defied the Biden Do not and clearly showed Iran Israel determination.
Now America needs a similar leader to counter the misguided Obama/Biden
Appeasement to the mullahs.

Bibi to Iran LAST TAG!

That is how serious that strike was.
Note bene
If Trump had not blown up the nuclear deal with Iran there would have been no opening for Russia to gain influence. But then again Trump is a Russian asset so he was just following orders.

The net-zero brigade in bambuworld seem hellbent on 'going up' not 'out' [building hi-rise apartment blocks by the *millions*, and not developing land and building homes.]

Underneath these apartment blocks full of people they want everyone to have an electric car and charge them there.
Charming.
Ahem, electric car fires anyone?
Barbecued apartment dwellers anyone?

Green realists are already warning green dreamers that it's a very bad idea, given the propensity of electric car batteries to explode in flames.
Electric car batteries, electric bike batteries, electric scooter batteries...look at all those fires.
One such electric car battery exploded while charging in a home garage in America, blew the garage door off its *hinges* and down the driveway. [Colorado?]
The door hit a fireman on the head, luckily he was wearing a helmet.

That is how Empire West is in West Hollywood, 19 stories straight up with a club house and a swimming pool on the roof, with 4 stories underground for parking. Empire West is where all of the stars live who need security guards and door men and valets, etc. Many of the women at Empire West have stalkers, etc. Empire West is a good, safe spot for the stars, like for Shakira, and for Margot Robbie, etc.

For nice housing, I kind of like the housing at Santorini, Greece, and there can be swimming pools and tennis courts, and that is what I would suggest for Battle Mountain, Nevada, they should bring in the Greek architects when they build, and they can have an island atmosphere out in the middle of Nevada. With libraries, etc. And an amphitheater where they can have shows, etc, like in Greece.

Anaheim is going to be rolling in the money, Disney is spending a lot of money here, and Newsom is giving tax breaks for producers to film, and money is being invested in Hollywood Blvd, good things are happening in California, and Mayor Bass is doing a great job, etc.

And we need more subways, and high speed trains. For Battle Mountain, Nevada, they have a Greyhound Bus Station so people can get there by Bus, and they have an Airport, and the Union Pacific Railroad runs through Battle Mountain.

And of course cheap sober living houses are needed, and cheap hostels where people can get a cheap shower and a bed. In Battle Mountain, Nevada, they had a nice tavern with rooms for rent above the tavern for $100 per month, which would be great for a Veteran, or for someone who wants to go explore Battle Mountain.

In my world...many people, myself included, went right off the idea of hi rise, for fear of ending up like the unlucky folk who basically had their financial lives ruined by buying into hi rise...

Chandler's [building Commissioner] role was created by the Coalition govt after cracked apartment buildings, including Sydney's Opal Tower and Mascot Towers, exposed the low quality of new builds and a poor compliance system.

Big rush to build hi rise for all the "massive [legal] immigration" folk to live in.
Massive [legal] immigration, totally not needed, just being done by politicians seeking votes to stay in power, some people accuse.

Things done in a rush often end up in failure to be completely successful.
Corners get cut, things get missed.

Australians cannot build anything bigger than a shed and expect it to stay up. They probably need new blood to dilute their congenital stupidity.

There is a wonderful movie named "The Towering Inferno" starring Steve McQueen and Paul Newman, it is a great movie, and it is about a tower that was built by people who cut corners and who tried to be cheap when they built the building, and so the building caught fire and became a towering inferno, the moral of the movie is not to cut corners.

Here in California we have earthquakes, etc, and so we need to build everything strong.

I would feel safe living in Empire West, I would love to live in the building, I could make movies with my neighbors, and they probably have Playboy Playmates living there, it is a great building, and they have a swimming pool and clubhouse on the roof for parties, and they have a tennis court.

Australia can bring in the architects from California, and from New York, and from Greece, and from Italy, and from Spain, etc, and then have strict building codes, and do not cut any corners. The buildings need to be safe.

I would love to go live in Empire West, it is a great building.

In 1974 there were a bunch of disaster flicks in theaters including Earthquake and The Towering Inferno which were paired in a double feature and billed as Shake and Bake!

In a world where everyone is reducing everything and raising prices, there is the DiGiorno frozen pizza company from Switzerland, and they are selling frozen pizza for 33% more pizza for one dollar cheaper, so you are getting a bigger pizza for only $7. And it goes great with Cabernet Sauvignon, or Merlot, or Chianti from Italy, etc.

So you could feed a couple of people, with pizza and wine, for under $20.

And prices are low on coffee thanks to good coffee growers in Colombia and good shipping and thanks to the bean roasters in New Orleans, etc. I am getting the top quality coffee for only $8 per can.

And now Disney is pumping billions of dollars into Anaheim, with Newsom lowering taxes for producers in California, good things can happen.

It's pizza and Coke No Sugar for me.
Bigger pizzas, for $7?

My large pizzas are now almost the size that small pizzas used to be...and they cost a very lot more than $7.
Fast food is also off my purchasing list, it's no longer a cheap meal.
Seems those running the landscape are obsessed with 'smaller portions' and 'obesity'.
Also, many restaurants and food businesses are closing, people are spending less, have much less to spend now the cost of everything is skyrocketing, including mortgages/housing, fuel, food etc.
Oh well, it's still better than living on a garbage dump in Asia etc.

Got some great builders, and great engineers.

The problems were/are..."freedom".....self-regulation, self-inspection, and private certifiers.
Govts were warned it would all end badly, which it has. They didn't listen, and tears are being shed...tears of buyers.

Hardline govt regulation, hardline govt inspection, and hardline govt certifiers should be the system.

So do I.
Coal and gas fired power stations are what are keeping the lights on, devices charged and the 'hot water' hot.
Cold 'hot water' is very bad, very uncomfortable.

If you walk to the market like they do in Europe, and if you quit smoking cigarettes, then you can survive okay in Anaheim. And it is easier with 2 people than one, so it is better if you share expenses with a mate, life will be better when I find a good woman. But, I am grateful to have plenty to eat and a nice apartment and good medical care.

Yes, it is much better than a garbage dump is Asia, this is paradise compared to a lot of places. Orange County is the 3rd safest county in California, following Ventura County and San Diego County. I have lots to be grateful for. And it will only get better as Disney spends more money in the region, etc.

And when I look at the photos from the Great Depression, we have come so far. We have some problems, but Mayor Bass is doing a good job, etc, and things will get better.

You did not have to rely on Australian builders, Tony. Bambu says they are all crap.

They built a building recently in New Orleans that collapsed before they even finished it, horrible quality. It is hard to find good companies now. It is important to hire all good people.

And I like Santiago Calatrava, and there are some other exciting builders.

I hope the best for Australia, and I like the towers, they are great, but you need to have good builders to build your towers, and good inspectors, etc.

Here is a link for Empire West, it is only 17 stories, but they have the Lobby on the Ground Floor, and they have the Clubhouse and Swimming Pool on the Roof, the Tennis Court is on the side, and then the Parking is Underground.

https://www.toplacondos.com/empire-west

When I worked at Empire West then Suzanne Pleshette was my Boss, she was the Homeowner Association President.

I think the building that collapsed in New Orleans was going to be a Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, but I am not sure, it was a while back, so even in New Orleans it is hard to find a good builder.

And shake and bake, that is funny for a double feature.

Salute,

Tony V.

Ooo, you big fibber, I said no such thing.
I said there are good builders and good engineers...but also ones who take shortcuts and aren't so good.
Youtube "Barangaroo Sydney", and "Darling Harbour Sydney"...lots of nice new buildings there that are not falling down...built well by top shelf construction companies.
It's the bottom shelf ones that have to be watched.
