Unfortunately, you have a lot of people, even in places like Moore, Oklahoma (I think it's still ranked as most twister prone city in US) who have homes built and decide they'd rather spring for granite countertops and a jacuzzi, than include tornado shelter in the house.  Though twisters are dramatically destructive, the odds of one hitting your house in Tornado Alley is 1 in 5000, so people are willing to roll the dice and spend their budget on frills.
Frills?
Is building a home you want to enjoy living in a frill?
Of course not.
Moore  Oklahoma according to statistics has grown from 42,000 to 63,000 in the last 13  years despite a huge
tornado in 2013.
Growth over the last three  has been slowed by Covid and Biden inflation.
It may come as a shock to you but people seek a home they can afford in a community they live in whether by choice or situation.
They know the risks but persist in establishing a home  that suits their needs and comfort.
As do all Americans.

If there is one lesson we have learned over the last 50 years of global alarmism it is that the ability of society to adapt to change is eternal.

You seem to have completely missed the point of that post.  No one is criticizing building a nice home or living in Tornado Alley.  Did you actually follow the whole chat, where I said I grew up in that area?  Local government and insurers in that town in Oklahoma urge people to include tornado-proofing in their homes, for their safety and to help the house stay at least partly intact.   As has been observed in various towns in Oklahoma, many people opt to spend the money that proofing costs on other home amenities.  It's a dice roll I might consider myself, but I was explaining to Bambu that there are consequences of those cumulative individual choices when, say, an F4 tornado strikes, and they are striking with greater frequency now.  So it is worthwhile, when you meet with a general contractor, to consider possible benefits of choosing a storm shelter space over marble countertops, when the budget won't encompass both.

How to react to protests and/or bad behavior in modern day America.
Two cases.

At the State University of New York(SUNY) student protesters
tried to silence conservative pundit Ian Haworth who was hired to conduct a discussion on Free Speech on College Campuses. Haworth belongs to Turning Point USA(TPUSA) a non profit organization promoting campus freedom and his talk was to discuss how just the opposite is happening on many university campuses.

Right on cue some angry students started screaming( in no particular order)
Shut Up Nazi!, Trans Rights are Human Rights! Fuck You TPUSA!

Haworth replied  to those shouting , Ladies and Gentlemen I give you the [ b]
Tolerant Left!

Summing up his evening at SUNY Haworth observed
The most socialist thing I have ever seen is a bunch of deranged students screaming no cops! no KKK! no TPUSA! at a Jewish immigrant while also happily shoveling free pizza down their throats paid for by TPUSA!
Jokingly, he added, Sure, they are Nazis, but who does not  love a free slice?

And then you have the 50 something lady school bus driver , Jackie Miller, shuttling a bunch of brats to school last week in Amherst, Ohio.
Miller said the core group of students had acted out
the minute they boarded the bus and  one of them sprayed perfume leading to a horrible asthma attack.
She needed an inhaler and the bus windows opened to recover.
It was the proverbial straw and Miller let go.

Her rant lasted minutes and was brutal.
My favorite part:

Goddamn it, how much more do you expect me to fucking take?
I'm sick of all of this shit!
I am  done with it.
I am going to start kicking some fucking serious ass!
Do you hear me?
My foot is going to be so far up your goddamn ass it is going to dangle out your goddamn nose..

Well, Miller quit. She said she should not have reacted that way but she MEANT EVERY WORD and was not taking anything back.

Her tongue lashing became the inspiration for a clothing line of shirts, sweaters and hoodies, which sported one of her quotes ( guess which one) around a school bus, with $5 of each sale going to the now-jobless driver.
A GoFundMe was also set up and raised over $60,000 as of Thursday afternoon, so Miller can retire.

Bragg has no Constitutional duty to provide that information:

A. To the Defendant in an indictment or arraignment, or

B. To a journalist, ever.

Google notice pleading, you vainglorious buffoon.
Both A and B?  I would have thought just B?  So Bragg just has to state a general cause of action, in an indictment, but specifics aren't needed?  So the Constitutional "nature and cause" requirement is very general, I guess.  Specifics come out in discovery.

Expel them from the legislature, but only if they are black?
Yes, he will need to provide that information eventually, but not in the indictment. There will be a motion to dismiss the indictment, and that will force Bragg's hand.

Prepare to be confused

Amendment  VI

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.

When Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg was asked by a reporter as to what the underlying crime his indictment fails to name is, he replied in New York State, he does not have to.

The US Constitution is the supreme law of the land.
Does that not include New York?
You clearly are. Or rather, the right wing web site you pulled that argument from wants you to be and is lying to you again. 240 years of litigation as to what constitutes sufficient information ignored by them to be regurgitated by you.
Was that supposed to be a response, or are you just banging the table?
LOL. Just pointing out that you know nothing of the Constitution or criminal procedure, and are being played for thr gull you are.
As I thought.
No response, just insults.
No insults.  Just a blunt statement of facts.
I supplied the facts
You countered with insults
The only fact you supplied is that you have no knowledge of the Constitution or criminal procedure. Granted the part of you being played for a gull is more an inference and the source you regurgitated may be as ill informed as you, but I think it is more likely they are relying on the ignorance of you and your ilk.

The republican plague-star, shonda of Queens NY, has been informed of the nature and cause of the felonies he is charged with and was arrested for.

You might not feel he was informed with sufficient specificity in the indictment document or at the initial hearing. If so, fortunately for you the greasy dilapidated ketchup throwing slimeball pled not guilty instead of no contest as he was probably advised to.

On account of that more specificity will be forthcoming.

I for one have set aside popcorn.

I have a friend who was born and raised in Venice Beach, California, she married and moved to Washington where her Husband worked on aircraft, after her Husband retired they moved to Oklahoma where it is cheap to live, they bought a beautiful home with a nice swimming pool and jacuzzi, and their daughter was able to study Drama in High School, and now her Daughter graduated and got married, time flies so fast. She also has a disabled son who has to be in a special home. They love Oklahoma. They are also involved with Kiwanis International, which is global. They are living well in Oklahoma, they are grateful.

Salute,

It was in the Tennessee legislature on 18 August 1920 that young Harry Burn *changed* red rose to yellow after receiving a letter from his mother, and voted 'yes', thereby giving the Suffragist women, the "Iron Jawed Angels", their 19th Amendment right to vote.
A dark for Bambu-ilk residing in the States, I'm certain.

Happy women are the best kind.
Be kind to respectable, respectful women, and one's rewards will be plentiful.

I worked for Suzanne Pleshette, watching her front door and parking the cars, and she was a wonderful woman. Zsa Zsa Gabor was good friends with Suzanne Pleshette and Zsa Zsa used to come see Suzanne all of the time, and I loved Zsa Zsa.

And my Mother is a wonderful woman, and my Grandmothers on both sides were wonderful women.

I have been lucky to have had good women in my life.

I hope to find a good wife someday. And hopefully I can find a woman who is smarter than I, so that we can live good lives. I need to marry up in the world.

Salute,

No insult, no anger. And your "question" was a rhetorical comment. Again, accurately assessing your level of ignorance is not an insult. "Vainglorious Buffoon" was, admitedly.
