Mahlagha Jaberi attended the Cannes Film Festival in a dress designed to bring attention to the executions in Iran of people who are going against the extremist Muslim government of Iran. Mahlagha is a very brave woman, and she is also one of the most beautiful women in the world. Mahlagha is using her beauty to help the poor people of Iran.

Mahlagha lives here in California, and she is involved with the Persian community here in California. And she loves the Dodgers.

How is her "beauty [helping] the poor people of Iran"?

What about her good works?

Her Dodger Fandom is likely a great moral support when one is beaten and imprisoned for improper wearing of head coverings.

I too once met a girl in Central Park, but it is not much to remember. What I remember is the time John Wayne killed three men with a carbine as he was falling to the dusty street in Stagecoach, and the time the kitten found Orson Welles in the doorway in The Third Man.

Los Angeles has a huge Persian population, and when Dodger Stadium has 50,000 Persians at Dodger Stadium all bringing awareness to the situation in Iran, then that has power for the poor oppressed people in Iran. Every little bit helps, and movements that start here in California can go global, look at McDonald's which started here in San Bernardino and which is now global and which has now sold billions of hamburgers, things that start here in California can go global. And Beverly Hills and Hollywood still have a lot of power.

And the beauty of Mahlagha Jaberi helps her to bring attention to the situation in Iran, but of course her good deeds and kind heart make her even more beautiful and effective. She is beautiful, and she is kind, and she cares about the people of Iran, she is working to help the people of Iran. And Mahlagha is a leader, she can help to lead a movement to help the people of Iran.

In America, homeless people are being arrested and tossed in jail, for simply putting something under or over them.
They can lie in the snow, but as soon a they cover themselves with something they are breaking the law, are given a ticket, can't pay the ticket...so into the handcuffs and off to behind bars they go.

Where at?

And America needs to have hostels all over where people can shower and sleep in a bed for $15 per night, like in Rome, Italy. We need to ask the people from the Philippines to open hostels all over America, they have been helping the people here in California for decades.

Nationals' pitcher Williams says he's 'deeply troubled' by it...says it insults his religion.

Seems today if you're gay you can basically insult anyone you like with impunity.

"Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence" are said by some to be 'mostly gay men'.

Bud Light
Target

have suffered massive financial loss because of boycotts.

Maybe time for a baseball boycott?
The existence of gay and transgendered persons is not an insuit to any rational religion. Kershaw, Williams, you and the rest of the cancel culture that want to boycott Target and Bud Light are haters who want LGBTQ people to disappear, and are trying to boycott products simply because they acknowledge LGBTQ people exist and buy things. Using faith as a cover for your hatred offends my Catholic faith way way more than any gentle mocking of constituent group names you stinking cube of wallaby poo. (Hi bart!)

America seems to have gone into decline since Christians have 'disappeared'.
Time for a "rise from the dead".
Time for Christian folk to act.
Hate of any of God's creatures is not Christian. It is hate.

Oh, mocking nuns is 'gentle mocking', and that's OK?  Well it's not OK.

LGBTQIA+ folk have a right to exist, and have a parade...equality.
They should not have the right to go mocking Christian nuns.

They started the war.
Kershaw and Williams are to be thanked and praised for speaking out (maybe at great risk to their careers, that commentator was sacked for saying 'all lives matter').
Should be given medals.

Make them and send them medals.

Arts and crafts could be good for your mental health. Unlike reading what you call news it will not make you any dumber.

Bambu, keep an eye out on your television for commercials inviting the people of Australia to come tour San Francisco, as they are spending six million dollars on advertising to bring the tourists back to San Francisco...

https://www.sfchronicle.com/sf/article/s-f-launches-6-million-ad-campaign-lure-tourists-18126690.php

The tourists are not coming to San Francisco because the city has homeless people all over the streets, and drug addicts on the streets, etc. If they want to bring the tourists back then they need to help the homeless and help the addicts and nurture their city. San Francisco needs to be loved and nurtured and they need to bring back a sense of community. People used to love San Francisco, and San Francisco was my Mom's favorite city. And there are many Italian-Americans and Chinese-Americans in San Francisco. They need to love and nurture their city in order to bring the tourists back.

And they need lots of cheap hostels like in Rome, Italy, where people can shower and sleep for $15 per night.

My Mother loves the Ghiradelli Chocolate from San Francisco.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghirardelli_Chocolate_Company

And Levi Strauss Blue Jeans started in San Francisco.

They need to love and nurture San Francisco and they need to make it nice again, and then the tourists will return.

Salute,

Tony V.

Kevin McCarthy delivered .
A spending cut of2 trillion dollars ( maybe more through appropriation legislation)  and a stunning political coup.
For once the GOP did not sacrifice the good for  the perfect,
The Biden defeat by refusing to believe theGOP had the guts in staring him down likely will drive him to retirement

Good riddance

. Homeless...Denver should be building a tent city for its people who have nowhere to live...instead of tossing them in jail.
What's the good of giving a person who is sick and living under a bridge on an old mattress, and has nothing,  a ticket fine for $100?
Answer, no good.
Denver doesn't seem to have progressed much since the wild west.

Well, hate certainly defines you.
Bud Light, Target, Kohls, et al,simply  lost sight of their customer base who liked their defined brands over the years without the controversy of social Justice. It is reminiscent of the idiocy ofColinKapernicke who was shocked, SHOCKED I TELL YOU, that Americans would rebel against desecrating the National Anthem over a selfish job search.

Denver doesn't seem to have progressed much since the wild west.

My Great Grandfather was the Chief of Police of Denver, Colorado, in the 1920's, and my family came to California during the Great Depression. So, the Wild West was my family.

The television show Mork and Mindy took place in Denver.

And supposedly if the Government in Washington, DC, is destroyed, then a Government in Denver will take over.

I went through Colorado on a Greyhound Bus in about 1990, in the winter, it was night and there was a blizzard, and a girl sitting next to me shared her blanket, and someone had a portable stereo and they were playing Garth Brooks, it was a great experience.

And like I said, we need to bring the people from the Philippines to America and give them business loans to open hostels where people can shower and sleep in a bed for $15, and they can sleep in a nice bed instead of sleeping under a bridge.
