Sorry, no money left for climate change.
Climate change money must now be used for sending weapons, anti-glider missiles, pick ups with machine guns on the back,  and wall building materials to Israel. [and Ukraine]

This is the best argument for conservatorship for all conservatives that anyone could possibly make.

There is still no money for you and your stupid monkey anxieties. No wonder they stuck you with the nickels for so long

Paleo conservatives have trouble understanding that green energy is scalable in a way that fossil fuel generation is not.  Much easier for individual companies to erect a wind turbine or put solar panels on the roof than a fossil fuel plant.

Just saw on my tv the leader of Hamas being kissed on the cheek by, and having something whispered in his ear by, an ayatollah in Iran.

Wonder what was whispered.

I think they were having a laugh at how Australia will never get nukes.

Probably.
Wouldn't be the only ones laughing at "goodie two shoes" Australia and its
basically useless military defences.

Got conned by some.
Got lied to by others.
Should've made Britain arm it with nukes in return for the use of the outback for atomic testing.
Tricked on trade, etc.

But outside watchdog groups say misinformation about the war abounds on the platform that billionaire Elon Musk bought last year. Musk himself has recommended unreliable accounts posting about the war. And his job cuts since taking over Twitter last year have left fewer people responsible for taking action on posts that violate the platform s policies.

And always there are the propaganda classics, like disemboweling babies.  How many wars have involved fueling outrage with a disemboweled baby story?

This one is one too many.
Not that a sick group like Hamas and its sponsors(Iran et al) does not love to find new and more horrendous ways to kill innocent civilians.

If memory serves, you had no problem believing that Assad was dropping barrel bombs on women and children.  I'm not sure why you're skeptical that there are some genuinely evil people out there.

The people in Gaza and on the West Bank are never going to enjoy the freedom that they once enjoyed, everything changed and now they are much worse off. Attacking Israel was the stupidest thing they ever did.

The Palestinians who want peace can go live in Abu Dhabi and in Dubai, and Bibi is going to slaughter people in Gaza, Gaza is going to be punished bad, Bibi wants for them to remember for decades and to learn the lesson not to attack Israel. The people who want peace can go be essential workers in Abu Dhabi and in Dubai.

There are only a small hand full of terrorists who make it bad for everyone else. We could have a great world if we would put Putin in Prison and if we would stop Hamas, etc.

Salute,

Tony V.

I didn't say corpses we're not desecrated.  Not skeptical at all on that.  I said that wars are fueled by focusing on the most outrageous atrocities and suggesting they are the norm and ergo the enemy is evil incarnate.  I am sure there are evils from both sides, as Hamas militants kill innocent civilians, and then Israeli reprisals that also...kill innocent civilians.  Is that clearer?

Native Americans, where I live, faced the same disparity of reporting.  In truth, the US Cavalry was as savage to tribal peoples as they were to US soldiers.
