At the end of June 2022, 320,300 Filipino-born people were living in Australia, 55.4 per cent more than the number (206,110) at 30 June 2012. This is the fifth largest migrant community in Australia, equivalent to 4.2 per cent of Australia's overseas-born population and 1.2 per cent of Australia's total population.

------------

The people of the Philippines are wonderful Christian people.

We need to embrace the people of the Philippines and help them, they are poor like Mexico.

There can be a new television show named "The Peacemakers," and it can be about a team that travels around the world solving conflicts and preventing wars. Blessed are the Peacemakers. And it can help to teach people about healthy conflict resolution skills, and how to solve problems peacefully instead of with violence. It can set a good example for the world.

Salute,

Film and television production is down over 10% in California since last year, and the Entertainment Industry makes up one third of the economy in Hollywood, so I have some ideas on how to improve the situation.

First, Newsom needs to lower taxes as much as possible for producers.

Then , for me the big barrier to making my movie has been the high cost to make a film, if it was not for the high cost to make a film then I could have made my movie "Echo, A Rock and Roll Tragedy" 25 years ago, I had the script, Hef liked it, everyone liked it, I had a cinematographer who liked my script and who wanted to shoot it, I had an editor who wanted to edit it, and Hal Needham was going to help me when I got the money. And Hal Needham told me that getting the money is the hardest part of making movies, it was hard even for him. So here is an idea.

Brando made "One Eyed Jacks" with everyone working for just what they needed to survive, and then they got their pay when the film was released and when the film made money. So, with that Business Model, the cast and crew can all work for the bare minimum that they need to sustain life, and then when the film is released and when the film makes money then everyone gets paid a percentage of the profits. This would encourage everyone to do great work, because their pay would depend on the success of the project.

So, first we lower taxes, and then we need to change the way we make movies, and we need to learn from Brando, etc. Everyone can work for as cheap as possible to get the movie made, and then when the movie is released everyone gets a percentage of the profits.

We have USC film school, we have Chapman film school, etc, and we can put the local filmmakers to work, if you have the skill then the money will come after the project is released, and when the project makes money then the cast and crew makes money.

Content is in demand right now. 54% of the modern services economy is streaming content such as movies and television shows. We need to remove the barriers so that our people can work here in Hollywood.

Salute,

Tony V.

Bambu, Please help the good Christians of the Philippines, and welcome them as immigrants into Australia, and also please expand trade with the Philippines.

Right now the Philippines is very poor, and they do well here in the USA, they come here and work hard, and I have had rich Filipino friends and I was friends with a cousin of the former President of the Philippines, Gloria Arroyo, and my Doctor is from the Philippines, etc, they do well here. But, the Philippines has 100,000,000 people, and they need a lot more help.

The people of the Philippines are very good Christians, 90% of the people in the Philippines are Christians. Please help them.

Right now many poor people from the Philippines are working as essential labor in Abu Dhabi and in Dubai, where they will never be paid more than the basic minimum, no matter how hard they work they will never be successful in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and it is the same in Kuwait, etc, they hire the people from the Philippines as slave labor and they will never be paid fair. So it is best for the people from the Philippines to avoid looking for work in Abu Dhabi, and Dubai, and Kuwait, etc, it is a waste of their lives.

It is best if the people from the Philippines can come to good FREE nations where they can succeed and rise and prosper, such as the USA, Australia, Canada, Europe, and even Latin America. And we must expand trade with the Philippines.

One thing that I know the people from the Philippines make well is SCISSORS for grooming dogs, my Grandmother was a dog groomer and she said that the Philippines made the best scissors. And they also make good cooking knives, etc. And my friend Lisa was rich from Bananas. There are a lot of things they can do.

And my friend Pia Reyes was a Playboy Playmate from Manila, Philippines, the women of the Philippines are very beautiful.

We have lots of people from the Philippines in Hawaii, they love Hawaii.

And here is a story about why the people from the Philippines love Pork, the King of Spain loved the people from the Philippines, and he wanted for them to eat well and to have lots of food, so he sent many ships full of pigs to the Philippines so they would have lots of pork to eat, and to this day the people from the Philippines still love pork and they always serve pork at their parties. And in Hawaii they love pork, and they serve pork at their parties.

The people from the Philippines also love canned Spam.

The people from the Philippines are wonderful Christian people, and they are suffering in poverty, so we need to help them. Just like with Latin America.

On the issue of France, the Queen of Iran, Farah Pahlavi, lives in France, and France is still buying oil from Iran right now. We need to fix Iran, we need for good, loving people to take over Iran, and to get rich from the oil money and live in paradise in peace. There is no reason for poverty, and violence, and sanctions, etc, the good people need to take over Iran and then we can remove the sanctions and the good people can have a paradise with the oil money. Let me have the oil money from Iran and I will go be their new King myself, the spoils go to the victor, we need to replace the bad people with good people. I can rule Iran with Mahlagha Jaberi as my Queen, we can get rich from the oil money, etc. There must be some good people who can take over Iran.

Salute,

Tony V.

The Jews are growing eggplant the size of watermelons, and they have a thriving nation, that same work ethic needs to be applied in the Muslim world. And the Peace Corps can help globally. And Kiwanis International can help.

Maybe Italy, and the Vatican, can become more involved in the Middle East.

And yes, our intelligence agencies need to be wise and active.

The UN can also keep doing all they can for world peace.

Also, we can broadcast good stuff on their televisions and radios around the world, such as Dr Charles Stanley and Robert Schuller, etc.

Salute,

Tony V.

On this Memorial Day I would like to remind us that blessed are the peacemakers, we must never glorify war and death, those who have experienced war hate war and they love peace.

I managed a dog kennel for 6 years in Lancaster, California, for a World War II Veteran. He was in school to become a Veterinarian when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, and he had to drop out of school to join the Marine Corps to go fight against the Japanese. Because he was training to be a Veterinarian they put him in charge of their War Dogs, he trained Dobermans for the Marines, and he managed a dog kennel full of Dobermans for the Marines. He went to combat in Japan with his war dog Duke. And he hated war. He had a photo of the United Nations on the wall of our office, and he said the UN was a good hope to stop future world wars, he loved the UN.

The people who have been to war love peace. War is horrible, and blessed are the peacemakers who keep the peace and who prevent wars.

Of note, the Central Intelligence Agency was created along with the UN to prevent future world wars, we need for our best and brightest to work for the CIA, along with the UN, to prevent war.

I give thanks to those who served and died, while at the same time I honor my former Veteran Boss when I say that the peacemakers are blessed.

Peace.

Salute,

"One in four Palestinians leaving Gaza are coming to Australia...with very little checks." - Sky News

Use your computer to send messages to tell the refugees to take their children and to go to the Kiwanis Village in Victoria, British Columbia, the forest of Canada is a nice safe place for the refugee children. They can eat Kellogg's Pop Tarts, and watch Disney cartoons, and the adults can work peaceful forest jobs. And Kiwanis International is global, and Kiwanis already has operations in Egypt right by Gaza, and Kiwanis has a Village in Victoria, British Columbia.

And Australia needs to welcome the good Christians from the Philippines to live in Australia, please welcome our allies as new immigrants to Australia. The people from Taiwan are also good people. And please expand trade with the Philippines, and with Taiwan.

According to Siri then the cheapest land in the USA right now is in Mississippi, so the refugees can go live in Mississippi. ( Britney Spears was born in Mississippi, and I always liked her, she had problems, but she was a huge talented star for a long time, when she was in her prime then she was awesome. )

A Soap Opera Star was murdered in Los Angeles, Johnny Wactor, he was trying to stop criminals from stealing his catalytic converter when they shot him. The lesson to be learned is that if you are a successful actor then you need to spend the money to live in a nice gated community with security. Empire West has 24 hour security and door men, the whole building is full of stars because they need a nice safe home, and many stars have stalkers, etc. And Latigo Beach in Malibu has 24 hour security, and Paradise Cove has 24 hour security, etc. When you become a star then you need to live in a safe home, you need to consider your safety and security.

Even where I live now as a poor man, I live in a nice gated community in Anaheim with cameras all over, I am lucky and I live in a safe pad, God blessed me when he brought me to Anaheim. And when I leave here hopefully I will move up to someplace nice like a gated community in Malibu, or to Empire West in West Hollywood, etc.

Spielberg lives in Santa Monica and he has Body Guards.

And with the high crime, Los Angeles needs to have security guards all over, and all of the 7-Elevens need security, etc.

My Grandmother carried a pearl handled .32 semi automatic pistol in her purse, and that is how a lot of women do, Grandma protected all of us, we were all safe because Grandma had a gun in her purse. For the poor single women, they need guns and dogs and cameras, and alarms, etc. And there needs to be security for the student housing, etc.

Of note, the businesses can turn dogs loose to protect their property at night, like the junk yards do, a couple of big dogs will protect your property.

Anyhow, if I get rich, I am moving back to Malibu, or to Empire West, etc, I am not going to stay in the poor area, that is the lesson the stars need to learn, when you succeed then you need to go live where the successful people live. It is sad when stars get murdered in bad neighborhoods where they never had to be, they could have been living in Empire West, etc, or in Malibu, etc. Where I am right now is safe, it is a gated community with cameras, but I will go live with the people from the Entertainment Industry when I can afford it.

Rest in peace to Johnny Wactor.

Salute,

Tony V.

Music / Re: Music

One hard thing about the music industry is when people give heroin and hard drugs to the bands, it would be good to teach all children who want to be musicians to avoid the hard drugs. Pot is safe, you cannot over-dose on pot, and alcohol is safe in moderation, but the hard addictive drugs like heroin really do damage.

I was crushed when Tom Petty died.

And I have a friend who was in the Chili Peppers and he had to quit because they were on heroin, and the guy who replaced him, Hillel Slovak died from a heroin over-dose.

I met a woman who her dream was to be a Band Manager, but she lost all of her money because the band that she managed got on heroin and collapsed. It is hard for a Band Manager to keep the bands clean.

And there is the movie "Lady Sings the Blues" about Billie Holiday, heroin ruined her life, and it was so sad in the movie when her piano player got killed for trying to help her, great film with great acting. Every young musician should watch "Lady Sings the Blues."

I wrote a movie which I hope to produce, and the opening song is by Neil Young, and it is about a porn star and a Rock and Roll DJ, they were teen lovers, and a bunch of bad stuff happens, and she ends up as a homeless orphan, and he ends up in juvenile hall, and she becomes a drug addicted porn star, and he becomes a Rock and Roll DJ, and when he hears about her problems he tries to help her, but she ends up dying anyway, the title of the film is "Echo, A Rock and Roll Tragedy." And I hope to inspire people to donate to Children of the Night to help the homeless teens on the streets of Hollywood, etc. Hugh Hefner read my script and liked it, but we could not find a director, I wanted Oliver Stone but Oliver read it and turned me down. I hope to find some new connections maybe at Chapman film school to help to get my movie made, we will see. I would love to make it at Universal Studios and have a bungalow office. We will see what happens.

Beer drinkers and hell raisers.

https://youtu.be/KXswale5Kss

I smoked a joint with ZZ Top at Del Sur Gardens in Lancaster, California, back in about 1989. A bunch of old bikers and hippies lived at Del Sur Gardens and ZZ Top used to hang out there.

There is still an RV Park at Del Sur Gardens. They are still having parties there. BBQ and live bands all summer.

Salute,

Tony V.

Myself and a business partner almost purchased Del Sur in 1989, and yes - there were a couple of well known groups who played there over the years. John Kay and Steppenwolf stopped by and threw down an inpromptu performance in 1988. It was shortly after Kay realized he was ripped off by his investment banker attorney. Still recall the old converted greyhound or national trailways bus they ashowed up in.

According to (now deceased) Paul Koslo who was the former proprietor of the lake hughes 'Rock Inn' mentioned Neil Young also came by and had a beer back in 1972 or so. He was on his way back from a gig in Bakersfield.

Very cool.

I'd like to have my own police dept, with a discreet armed team protecting me 24/7/365...including a US President style vehicle and driver on call.
That is fantasy of course, but I sure would like it.
Oh to be a rich man, life would be so much easier.
An easy and comfortable life is the best kind.

I have never been rich, but I have had some great experiences, I worked at Universal Studios for 1 year and we had our own Police Department, it was great, I just wish I could have made enough money to buy a home, buy a car, and raise a family, then I would have kept the job, but it was minimum wage, so I had to quit. But, I was able to see what it was like at Universal Studios and I was able to watch Ron Howard when he filmed "Apollo 13," and I escorted Phyllis Diller at Bob Hope's Birthday Party, etc.

And I lived in Malibu with the rich people for 1 year, over-looking the ocean, with the daughter of a Chinese General as one of my roommates.

The only President I saw in my life was Ronald Reagan, my hometown built the Space Shuttles, I had a step-dad for a few years who was the boss of the Shuttle Program, and Reagan came out to the desert to Edwards to give a speech when the first Shuttle landed. Reagan was awesome, I loved Reagan.

When I worked at Universal my fellow employees kept telling me to buy the studio someday. At that time it was owned by the Japanese, and the people wanted for me to buy it.

My friend who is rock star thinks I can succeed here in Hollywood, he thinks that I am just holding my own self back. He thinks that I could be making movies and television shows right now if I would get it together. He was in the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and he has faith in me. He enrolled me in Leadership Training in Marina Del Rey, and he has been trying to help me to achieve my full potential.

And my Grandmother thought I was going to be rich. When I was a child we worked hard, she was a dog groomer and we used to work 12 hours per day grooming dogs, but then on days off she would take me to Los Angeles and we would eat on Olvera Street, and we drove all around Beverly Hills looking at the homes where the stars lived, and she told me that someday I could live in Beverly Hills too. She told me I was going to be rich. She taught me to dream big.

The students at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts all had faith in me too, they were very supportive, and I am still friends with my favorite acting teacher. They wanted for me to rise to the top and be the boss. Cecil B. DeMille attended the AADA, and lots of other greats, it is like Harvard, only for actors. The AADA is closing here in Hollywood, which is sad, now the actors will have to go to the AADA in New York to train. If I succeed then I will hire the students from the AADA, and from Harvard, and from USC film school, and from Chapman film school, etc, and from NYU, and Julliard, and the Actor's Studio, etc.

When I was at Universal the Boss was Lew Wasserman, he was the most powerful man in Hollywood at that time, and he ate at my table in the cafeteria, he was a cool guy. And we had Spielberg, and Ron Howard, we had great people. We just need for the workers to be paid better, and for Universal to be altruistic and to help Hollywood.

And yes, the cops need a Bachelor's Degree, and they can study Communication, and Psychology, and Sociology, and Ethics, etc, they can learn healthy conflict resolution skills, etc.

My friend thinks I can be living the life of my dreams right now, he thinks I am holding myself back. I do not know, but I do know I need a good wife to help me. I need a good, smart, talented wife. We can be like Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, and like Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks. My friend told me to write it all down and pray on it. I would love to find a wife who wants to own Universal Studios someday, and help the people of Hollywood, etc.

Salute,

Tony V.

By the way, I guess my Great Grandfather was the Chief of Police of Denver, Colorado, they came to California during the Great Depression. My Grandmother said that they used to have the Governor of Colorado over for dinner when she was a child in Denver before the Great Depression. They had hard lives, they had the Great Depression, and then Pearl Harbor and World War II, plus other problems, they had hard lives. My Grandmother was a good woman who would have been wealthy if not for the Great Depression and World War II, and other problems.

When I worked at Universal Studios then we had our own Police Department, they all worked for us, we did not have the LAPD nor the Sheriff's Department, we had our own Police Department and the cops worked for us. Once you experience what it is like to have your own Police Department, then it is hard to go back to having the asshole cops who just want to beat people up and bust people, and who just want to be dicks, and they are greedy, we need to raise the pay for teachers and lower the pay for cops. And we need for all cops to at least have a Bachelor's Degree. It was cool at Universal where the police knew who paid their pay-checks, the artists at Universal were paying their pay-checks and they knew that, and they respected us, the cops were there to protect and serve us. Once you have your own police department then it is hard to go back to being abused, everyone should experience what it is like to have a police department that is there to protect and serve them.

Bambu, read about Kelly Thomas, he was a homeless mentally ill White man who the police beat to death right at the train station in front of a huge crowd, there are many videos cause people had their phones out filming it, plus they had security cameras all over, the cops beat Kelly Thomas to death and no charges were filed, the cops all walked away free. That is not justice, justice was not done in the case of Kelly Thomas. The cops beat White people to death, and it is an issue of retraining our police, and holding them accountable. The cops are just violent assholes who need to be trained better. I am sure there are good cops, and if there are, then they need to agree that the cops should have went to prison for beating Kelly Thomas to death.

Salute,

Tony V.

Injustice for one is injustice for all.

Keep marching.

Marlon Brando, and Paul Newman, and all of those guys marched with Martin Luther King Jr.

And God gave us the ARTS to march with.

One idea is to bring the issue to the television show "Walker Texas Ranger" and write a case like what happened with Kelly Thomas into the show, and Walker can choose to be a good cop and support justice, he can struggle with knowing the bad cops committed murder and should be punished, while at the same time there is the Gang of Blue and their internal Code. They need to have a White cowboy like Kelly Thomas so the show does not become about racism, they can have a homeless mentally ill White victim of police abuse to inspire discussion.

And I need to get my poetry book published and my movie made, I have lots of good stuff in my material, then everything will open up for more stuff in the future.

Anyhow, they can bring important issues to television shows to inspire discussion in homes. I would like to find a good wife to produce with, and to write with, and maybe buy Universal, that would be great, and we could change the world.

Salute,

Tony V.
