“Men demonstrating their alpha-manhood in the subway with women and children around deserve contempt,” she said. In the video, it shows a woman, who does not appear to be Dovgalyuk, targeting dozens of men of various ages with the liquid, as facts about manspreading appear on the bottom of the screen.

The video was "created in assistance with friends who share my position," according to Dovgalyuk.

Many of the men in the video, clearly sitting with their legs spread moments before she targets them, are young and dressed casually in jeans, however, multiple older men wearing suits were also targeted.

I know the news cycle is moving so fast that things that happened 2 days ago are lost in the fog of history already, but ...

I was amused, and it was significant, how Kavanaugh's support letter from 84 (or whatever number) female supporters blew up in his face.  They were attesting to his character and that he has always treated women with respect, with the implication he could never commit a drunken sexual assault, and then it comes out that he humiliated and one of the signers who is/was a friend in his high school year book.  Showing that 1) he didn't always treat women with respect 2) either lied in his year book or about testifying to being an HS virgin & 3) these character references really know little or nothing about Kav's private life or past, that they were just a bunch of friends of his supporting him.  And their signatures of support were worthless, and Reante Dolphin withdrew hers after the revelation.  If the story wasn't already long buried, it would be interesting for a reporter to talk to the other signers and see if any more would withdraw given the Renate fiasco and further allegations.

In a more normal atmosphere, Kav would withdraw.

Otherwise I forgot how young some Reagan appointees were.
After Bork proved to extreme and had too much of a partisan and obnoxious paper trail (a lesson learned by the GOP in the Kav nom?), Reagan appointed Douglas Ginsberg age 41.  His replacement, Kennedy was 52 and served 30 years.
Clarence Thomas was 43 when he ascended to the bench.
he's been there almost 27 years now and at age 70 could have another decade to go.

Appointing young S Ct. judges was a new and intentional Reagan GOP strategy to push a conservative agenda for decades.
But I forgot that 2 appointees were in heir early 40's!.

Losing winnable elections has really killed the Left in terms of SCOTUS.
Bush, Bush, Bush and Trump were all winnable DEM elections and their policies and SCT judges could have been avoided.  Brennan and Marshall both cashed out during the Bush 41 term, and were replaced by Thomas and Souter.  Quite a shift there.
