LOS ANGELES -- Clayton Kershaw says he disagrees with the Los Angeles Dodgers' decision to welcome an LGBTQIA+ group called the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence at the team's annual Pride Night.

In America we have to allow everyone to have their own point of view, and that is part of what freedom is all about.

Beverly Hills and Los Angeles has a huge Persian population, and the Persians of Los Angeles deserve to have their own night at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, and they can help bring attention to the situation in Iran.

And we need to have a good night at Dodger Stadium for the Catholics, etc, and other groups deserve a night too.

Salute,

Tony V.

Yes, but, mocking the religion of others in the process should not be allowed.
Isn't there some US law against that?

Note they're not dressed in burqas and mocking Islam/the Prophet.
They pick on the nice, quiet, tolerant Christians....knowing that White heterosexual Christian males are the most hated group in America today and can't do anything about them...just have to sit there and be mocked.
Best thing for Christians to do is start boycotts...starting with empty stadiums.
Naming and shaming those allowing Christianity to be mocked ...is one thing that can be done.

The creators of South Park wrote a play named "The Book of Mormon" and they mocked the Mormons, and there is nothing the Mormons can do about it. And over the years the writers of South Park have mocked everyone.

Of note, after Los Angeles first blocked the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence then the Mayor of Anaheim welcomed them to come to Anaheim to Angel Stadium. It is just the way it is in America. We have to allow everyone to have their own voice and their own point of view.

But we can still have a Christian night, and a family night, etc, at the stadiums.

Salute,

Tony V.

Tell your clergy to be less ridiculous, pay their taxes, stay out of politics and to lay off the altar boys. Every little bit helps.

We have the Anti Defamation League...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-Defamation_League

There are people who work to stop hate.

But Mel Brooks could still make fun of the Jews, etc. And of course he is a Jew himself.

People are not allowed to defame people or to slander people, and we do not allow hate, but people are allowed to mock groups of people openly.

Or even better, bring in Cheech and Chong to mock the gays openly on Pride night right in front of them, and they can laugh at themselves being mocked. Cheech and Chong have some great skits on mocking the gays. And for instance there is some funny stuff in the movie "Still Smokin" where Cheech and Chong mock the gays.

It is sad that all of the great comedians are getting old and are dying.

Cheech just built a new museum for Chicano Art in Riverside, he is doing good things before he dies.

A man went to work for the Mormon Church believing that he was going to use his skills to do good deeds and to help people, but instead he said the church only cared about money and about building their bank accounts, and they never helped anyone. He said that the Mormon Church should lose their tax exempt status because they are not a charity and they do not help people.

I hope that this case will lead to the Mormon Church becoming aware, and deciding to serve the Lord and to help the needy.

Right now the main people who are helping the poor in California are the Roman Catholics, including the wonderful people from the Philippines, Christians from the Philippines have been helping the orphans and the homeless, and feeding the hungry, in California.

Nationals' pitcher Williams says he's 'deeply troubled' by it...says it insults his religion.

Seems today if you're gay you can basically insult anyone you like with impunity.

"Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence" are said by some to be 'mostly gay men'.

Bud Light
Target

have suffered massive financial loss because of boycotts.

Maybe time for a baseball boycott?
The existence of gay and transgendered persons is not an insuit to any rational religion. Kershaw, Williams, you and the rest of the cancel culture that want to boycott Target and Bud Light are haters who want LGBTQ people to disappear, and are trying to boycott products simply because they acknowledge LGBTQ people exist and buy things. Using faith as a cover for your hatred offends my Catholic faith way way more than any gentle mocking of constituent group names you stinking cube of wallaby poo. (Hi bart!)

America seems to have gone into decline since Christians have 'disappeared'.
Time for a "rise from the dead".
Time for Christian folk to act.
Hate of any of God's creatures is not Christian. It is hate.

Wombat poo.  It's the wombats who have the house with poo corners.
You say that as if "wombat" and "wallaby" are not both just another word for "kangaroo".

Also pressured by the Chinese news, crude oil prices are now falling at an annual rate of more than 40% for the first time since the depth of the pandemic in June 2020. Euro zone natural gas prices are at their lowest in almost two years.

You know perfectly well that my Inner 12 Year Old simply wanted to coin the phrase "house with poo corners."

Speaking of game, are DeNiro and Pacino engaged in some sort of octogenarian new dad contest?
