Besides being an ideas man...bambu is also a "what if" man.

What if...one buys an EV, with the warranty on the battery usually being 100,000 miles, ...and the battery fails at 150.000 miles?
The cost to replace the battery is from $4,000 tp $20,000 depending on car make and model.
Same thing that happens if your gas car needs a new engine at 150. Yer fucked, mate.

Miles Bron will invest, I'm sure.

But someone needs to tell Bambu the easiest way to generate hydrogen.  So they're still EVs.  (IOW fuel cells running on hydrogen are still powered by electricity used for the electrolysis)

 Update on EVs.

In a vote of 221-to-197, the House passed the Choice in Automobile Retail Sales (CARS) Act (H.R. 4468).

The bill would prohibit the EPA from finalizing its proposed vehicle emissions rule that would limit what kind of cars Americans can buy.

The CARS Act would also amend the Clean Air Act to prohibit the agency from mandating the use of any specific technologies or limiting the availability of new motor vehicles based on the type of new motor vehicle engine in such new motor vehicles.

That bit of pandering will not go anywhere, a good thing because it is a terrible piece of policy written by idiots.

Chris Christie won the Debate last night in my opinion, and he appeared Presidential. We would survive if Christie was the President.

Biden is getting too old. And I cannot think of any young sharp Democrats to replace him. Biden is hanging out with Spielberg right now here in Los Angeles, wish Spielberg would run for President.

Locally Mayor Bass is doing a good job of helping the homeless, etc, but more needs to be done.

And Sabrina Cervantes is doing a good job.

Christina Pascucci is running for the Senate, and she is off to a good start.

Lou Correa is doing a good job in the House of Representatives.

Salute,

Tony V.

Chris Christie is one good ribeye and twice baked potato from a major coronary!
I would take Joe Bidens EKG and BP readings over that undisciplined guy who busted through his weight loss surgery!

Cannot think of ANY young, sharp Democrats to replace him?

What the fuck are VICE PRESIDENTS FOR?

Karen Bass is five days away from bring in office FOR A YEAR! Of course there is more to be done!

Do you think Rick Caruso would have done a better job? Or did he set fire to $100 million that could have been better spent fight homelessness?

Well then. The GOP will be glad to be the party running on a taxpayer  choice of what kind of car they  want to drive.
The dems will be stuck as the party in favor of picking the car for you.
Given the lackluster interest  EVs are getting in the market the GOP would have the winning argument.

Yes, but...now Mitsubishi and others are offering 10 year warranty on gas cars/pick up trucks.
Engines, transmissions, the whole car.
Haval/GWM (Great Wall Motors)-Chinese, offer 7 years unlimited KM warranty for private use, and 7 years 150,000km warranty for commercial use.
Australian consumer law is very clear and very strict, everyone has to abide by it.

At last, freedom!    of choice for American motorists.
Seems some have woken up that American motorists and their families vote at federal and state elections.

Never a good idea to force The People to do things they don't want to do, and can't afford to do.

With this, govts run the risk that the People/companies will buy new gas/diesel vehicles, including large trucks, as close as possible to the forced cut off date...you know, rebel, boycott all EVs and the whole EV system.
