Trump’s legacy is 7 liberals on a 13 member Supreme Court, a mountain of debt, and a larger mountain of corpses.

I’d sooner pluck out his eyes than vote for him. Every sane American feels the same way.

You’ve convinced me, Bambi. All whites are racist. It’s a big problem. Thank you. I hadn’t considered it before.

If you are a White person, a White male in particular, it's YOU they are blaming for everything.
Racism, everything.
You could be a person of colour, they're not blaming you for anything.
You cannot be racist, they say.
You get a free pass. lol
Imagine being a White person, White male in particular, studying at a university in America today.

So...white men are like Jesus. Condemned by an angry mob, right?

Except.,.well Jesus was black, but still...

Guess what...what becomes the new norm in American universities/society, soon finds it way to bambuland.

The twin themes “only whites can be racist” and “all whites are racist” appeared at the University of Delaware in 2007. The “sustainability” dorm-based indoctrination program at UD offered this aperҫu:

A RACIST: A racist is one who is both privileged and socialized on the basis of race by a white supremacist (racist) system. ‘The term applies to all white people (i.e., people of European descent) living in the United States, regardless of class, gender, religion, culture or sexuality. By this definition, people of color cannot be racists, because as peoples within the U.S. system, they do not have the power to back up their prejudices, hostilities, or acts of discrimination….’

#####

Charming.
Yes, that's what they were teaching, became the norm.

********

This formulation was adopted by UD after consultation with Dr. Shakti Butler, a consultant who goes around advising colleges and universities to this
effect. The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE), whose spotlight on UD led to the end of the residence program, archived a database of materials from it, including Dr. Butler’s “Diversity Facilitation Training.” Dr. Butler, incidentally, lists Boston University as one of her clients.

#####

Well there you go.

This PC BS is what Trump was elected to fight against.

Now who can argue with that?

Midnight Mitch sends a big "fuck you!" to the American people, as the pandemic worsens.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell yesterday moved to adjourn the Senate until November 9, killing off any hopes of further coronavirus relief.

McConnell and his Republican colleagues head into the election recess on the back of celebrations at the White House on Monday evening following Amy Comey Barrett's confirmation to the Supreme Court.

A spokesman for McConnell said that he needed to make no further comment on the 'continued Democrat filibuster on COVID relief in the Senate.'

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8883375/Mitch-McConnell-adjourns-Senate-November-9-killing-hopes-new-Covid-stimulus.html

And Trump and Barr can't dodge the Trump rape charge:

A federal judge on Tuesday rejected an effort by the Department of Justice to have the United States government replace President Donald Trump in a lawsuit in which he is accused of defaming writer E. Jean Carroll after she said he raped her in the mid-1990s.

The DOJ had argued that Trump was acting in his capacity as a government employee when he said Carroll was lying and motivated by money after she said that he attacked her in a New York department store dressing room.

Because of that, the DOJ said, the government should be the defendant in Carroll’s civil lawsuit, not the president.

Judge Lewis Kaplan on Tuesday flatly rejected that argument, days after a bizarre aborted court hearing in which a Justice Department lawyer refused to orally argue his claim on the telephone on the heels of being denied entry into the courthouse because of New York coronavirus restrictions.

“The President of the United States is not an employee of the Government within the meaning of the relevant statutes,” Kaplan wrote in an order released in U.S. District Court in Manhattan.

“Even if he were such an employee, President Trump’s allegedly defamatory statements concerning Ms. Carroll would not have been within the scope of his employment. Accordingly, the motion to substitute the United States in place of President Trump is denied.”

And demented governor of South Dakota allowed largest public gathering in 2020, in Sturgis,  with no rules on masks,  social distance,  indoor crowd capacities,  etc.   She's a Trump clone.   Just as Trump has prattled on about American Exceptionalism, Gov.  Noem has her relentless patter about Dakota Exceptionalism,  how amazingly responsible Dakotans are,  how we're libertarian heroes all who unerringly make the right choices and have no need of laws and regulations.   There is a meth-head in her madness.

The first is not a surprise, though had I been one of Susan Collins, et al, I would have sought to vote down the adjournment in cooperation with the Dems.

The second was a bizarre effort in every way imaginable, but emblematic of Trump's and Barr's view that the DoJ is Trump's personal legal team,  as illustrated repeatedly.

I don't think even this SCOTUS will permit that effort to fly.

If the Midwest pattern continues, then Wisconsin could be tight...

But if the Southwest pattern continues, then Arizona looks like it will go blue.

And Texas and Georgia look like they are seriously in play!

"Black Lives Matter" could be seen by some people  as 'non-inclusive' and 'racist'.
"All Lives Matter" on the other hand could be seen as 'inclusive' and 'non-racist'.

Only if you don't understand context.

Context: Nobody said ONLY black lives matter.  It's black lives matter TOO.

All Lives Matter is the refrain of either the a) outright racist, or b) the person who doesn't the context.

In October 2020 it's getting harder and harder to find anyone who is in the  (b) camp.

Grant Napear (the broadcaster who resigned from the Kings broadcast) might have been in the B camp prior to his statement.

Now he knows better and has apologized.

And is likely unemployed. A total outrage.

He has a podcast.

Quote
They say "All Lives Matter" is racist, many people say it is not.

It is the tone-deaf response of racists and people who don't know the context of "black lives matter".

Quote
Black Lives Matter should be changed to All Lives Matter. Until it is it will be seen by many as 'separate' and 'non-inclusive'.

We need to specifically separate it --- in order to draw attention to it.
Think about "endangered species".
Why do we bother keeping a list of endangered species if all lives matter?
Because we need to draw attention to an at-risk population.

Quote
It could well look to some people that it's "Only Black Lives Matter".

Nobody has said that.

Quote
Nobody has said it's "Black lives matter too"...that I've seen anywhere written or spoken.

Consider yourself informed.

Quote
They?
The ones in plain sight who are doing all the talking.

On this subject you should do more listening than talking.

Not "don't know," but "refuse to accept," I think.
