Two very different 9th half innings.

Congratulations to the Braves for winning the 1st NLCS game!

Failure to hold runners.

And willingness to send a runner

Keys in that ninth inning.

Seager has to catch that ball.

Seager is NOT Correa.

Defensively, I agree.

Back and forth goes this one.

The throw was just off or that runner would be out.

Can't believe the 2nd baseman missed that ball.

Congratulations, Braves!

Congratulations, Braves!

He looked like he was screened by the pitcher on that play.

Either way, Dodgers RISP numbers are bad, and everyone seems to be overlooking how SF series put all that stress on the Dodgers' pitching, including Scherzer.

Joc has the Dodgers faithful clutching their own pearls.

Down 0-2, Dodgers will do the one thing that usually helps them in a spot like this one, as seen here: https://youtu.be/f4zyjLyBp64

Best value will be Semien

How do you figure that?

Cheaper

And very very good

Much older, and less value going forward through the next 4 seasons than the top 3.

So, no.

Not best value.

Will be interesting tracking this

Other 3 meaning who?

Seager, Correa and Story?  Adding Baez too?

Let an ace - Buehler in this case - be an ace.

Let him go deep in the game at home - save the bullpen for what you now feel could be a lonnnng SEVEN games.

Semien is the oldest one.

Check the stats. You could have googled it, too: https://www.spotrac.com/mlb/free-agents/shortstop/

Note the age and the market value.

But consider that your guy is FOUR YEARS OLDER than Correa, Correa in 4 years vs the 35 year old you prefer.

Of course, injuries, etc, anything can change, but Correa looks like a better bet than Marcus going forward.

Now, factor in who can play in the Northeast (Boston, Philly, NY). Seager? Story? Correa?

I think Correa has the best make-up to end up somewhere near the Atlantic, and Seager and Story stay out west.
