Weird to watch Dean Phillips growing desperate and escalating.  Going from "we need (Democratic) primaries to be a competition not a coronation" to "Joe is an enemy of democracy."  While I wouldn't mind seeing a real primary with one of the younger high-profile Dems competing, Phillips is turning into a kook with a Trumpian attack mode that obscures whatever policy positions he might usefully promote.

Most famous primary against an incumbent was Ted Kennedy vs. Jimmy Carter.

Problem with a primary when the incumbent is producing results ends up with the nominee bruised and battered going into general election or you get a Bernie who goes into the convention trashing the primary winner and whose supporters backed Trump in the general.

No cracker ever hijacked planes and flew them into busy landmark buildings or threw bombs at national celebrations. Looking for big kill counts and virgins in space. Crackers do shootings because of mental issues. Big difference.

They do shoot up grocery store and churches. One of them blew up the Murrah building in Oklahoma City you racist fuck

And they shoot up schools, spas, clubs, concerts and more.

You are getting your wish, Tony. LA to Vegas in 2 hours by 2028, though 2030 might be more a more realistic timeframe.

University of Pennsylvania President Liz Magill Resigns After Failure to Condemn Antisemitism.
Magill faced pressure to resign after she evaded questions about antisemitism on campus during a recent hearing on Capitol Hill, and after a donor threatened to pull $100 million from the university.

Magill and the presidents of Harvard and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) faced intense backlash after they declined to say during the hearing whether advocating for the genocide of Jews is permissible on campus.

One down.
Two to go.

She didn't handle the question well, and it wasn't a hard one.  Here's one possible answer that could have been given:

"Advocating the genocide of any ethnic group is hate speech and incitement, and has no place in civilized discourse.  Penn will not permit such hate speech, while still protecting the free speech rights that allow healthy public debate on issues of the day."

What should be allowed is the questioning and critique of any policies of any government or militant group or party.  Every group that claims to act for its members must be held accountable.

Hopefully Joe won't be too battered by a crank from Ice Cube, MN.  I hope he can override the firehose of RW propaganda and sell his achievements during a difficult era.

I take your point about disruptors at the convention.

Three dangerous dumbass college presidents. Is there anything wrong with calling for the genocide of the Jews? Only if its in the context of an individual attack!

Canada is a good safe place for the refugees from Ukraine, and Kiwanis is great...

Refugees from Latin America would be welcome in Canada as well, I am sure.

So many angry people around. Trying times and very limited leadership around. Nikki is the one.

I disagree. Senator Eugene McCarthy (D, Minn) challenged President Johnson in 1967 and got 42 per cent of New Hampshire primary vote.
LBJ dropped out of the race.
