Do those who want cartoon strips like Dilbert banned have an opinion on humor like this?

Dilbert was not banned it just succumbed to the vagaries of the free market.

When will other lying/allegedly lying President's be indicted? ...including Democrats?
Maybe on the twelfth of never?

My newspaper today:

Mr Trump blasted the indictment, claiming it was an example of "political persecution and election interference at the highest level in history."

#####

Many people seem to agree with him.

‐------------------------------------------------------------

Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy claimed Mr Bragg had "irreparably damaged our country in an attempt to interfere in our presidential election."

"As he routinely frees violent criminals to terrorize the public, he weaponized our sacred system of justice  against President Donald Trump" the top Republican leader said.
"The American people will not tolerate this injustice, and the House of Representatives will hold Alvin Bragg and his unprecedented abuse of power to account."

When they break the law?

"the guy is a Democrat that's indicted him", Ms ..... told Sky News Australia.

"This also makes a complete mockery of not only the US legal system but their political system as well.

It is, quite frankly, a joke."

Well there you go.

Equal Justice Under Law

Some people believe that recipients of hush money are equally as guilty as the payers of it....and should be treated as such under law.
Some people are full of shit. Especially since the crimes apparently involved - falsifying documents and an underlying campaign funds violation - have nothing to do with the conduct of the recipients. Drumpf is apparently  ot being prosecuted for paying hush money but lying in connection with those payments.

Some people do not understand the law. Paying money was not the problem. Trying to hide in business records is the problem as the money was used tO assist  a political campaign and not disclosed AS BY LAW.

How was Laudanum banned, a tincture of opium that was popular with millions of Americans who used it for sleep aid, intestinal problems, and recreation?  How did they ban it without treading on individual rights?

There is no Constitutional protection for narcotics.

No constitutional protection for semi automatic weapons.

Whether assault type rifles are three or thirty percent of homicides, their impact on the level of public terror is large because their use is seen so often in mass shootings.
ALL types of guns are used in  shootings , regardless of the classifications. Handguns, in terms of numbers of people killed are, by far, the weapon of choice.  The killer in Nashville used a carbine rifle but immediately the media and the President zeroed in on banning the the AR 15, a gun that happens to be very popular with millions of Americans who use it for protection, hunting, and recreation.

So why not make them harder for loonies and troubled youth to own, and limit magazine capacity, and bolster background checks, and so on?
How do you do that in a country that protects individual rights? What constitutes a definition of
loonies, troubled youth? In the Nashville case we are told the killer left a detailed account of her motive.
Why is it still not published?

Anyone hunting with an AR-15 has no intention of eating their hunt.

Inevitably Whoopi Goldberg would run her mouth and make a bad situation worse.

And so it went today when she called for a ban on the AR-15 rifle after the deadly school shootings in Nashville.

Let us start with this, let us start with this. The AR-15-style rifle needs to go, period. Period, Goldberg said during their discussion following the Nashville shooting.
You cannot hunt with it. There is nothing left after you shot it. We all know what it does. Until that conversation can be had, nothing is going to happen, that is the issue.

[/i] Well.
First, the Nashville shooter did not use an AR 15

https://www.breitbart.com/2nd-amendment/2023/03/29/surveillance-footage-shows-nashville-shooter-used-a-carbine-which-fires-pistol-rounds-not-an-ar-15/

Second, a Washington Post survey this week asked AR 15 owners why they bought the popular gun that is owned by 16 million Americans.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2023/03/27/ar-15-facts-what-we-learned/

A conversation should proceed but dwell on facts, not opinions that were not well researched.
