If a gay man were to be chosen to oppose Trump in the Presidential election, and win, he would become President and his husband would become
'The First Gentleman'.

Interesting.

All praise to Dr Li Wenliang and his ilk who blew the whistle...now we know what goes on in China, and how Coronavirus started.
He and his ilk saved the world from 'total' disaster, many millions could've died if he hadn't stood tall.

Coronavirus whistleblower doctor Li Wenliang dies from infection in Wuhan, local hospital says

A Wuhan hospital says a Chinese doctor who blew the whistle on the outbreak of coronavirus only to be reprimanded by police has died from the virus, amid confusion over earlier reports of his death and then resuscitation.

Trump’s impeachment acquittal is bad for Democrats, but good for Australia

With the President being cleared of all wrongdoing, the prospect of another Trump term looks more likely than ever. Which can only be good for those of us Down Under, writes James Morrow.

The debacle of the Iowa caucus, whose results may never be known thanks to some as yet undetermined combination of conspiracy and cock-up, called into question the Democrats’ ability to run even a provincial preselection, much less reorganise the entire economy.

And the icing on the cake was House Speaker Nancy Pelosi theatrically tearing up Trump’s State of the Union speech …
It was not, as they say, a good look.

Were a radical leftist like Bernie Sanders to take the White House and cripple the American economy with socialism and high taxes, we’d pay the price – and our dependence on China, already too great, would grow as Beijing moved to take up the slack left by a moribund US.

(Incidentally, Sanders is probably the best hope to take the White House for the Democrats because – despite being as far to the left as Trump is to the right – he speaks the same language of nation and community. This scares the pants off elite, globalised liberals from Manhattan and Silicon Valley and the Washington Beltway, which is exactly why they would rather spend four years in the wilderness complaining about Trump at dinner parties than let Bernie anywhere near the reins of power).

New MAFS reality show started on my mainstream tv last night;

One young lady;

"I can't get an organic date, and when I say organic I mean someone just coming up to me off the street or approaching me at a bar, because I think I must intimidate some men," she said.

#####

More like, in the era of "MeToo", men who go to bars looking for conversation, love, etc are called "predators".
Ditto, men approaching women in the street looking for a date.
And what man wants to be labelled as a 'predator'.

More people hacked to death in a terror attack in London today by you know who.

How many people do you think were hacked to death today in London, pray tell?

It was zero, last I heard, with one at risk of death and one other injured by the attacker.

Zero it is.
An early report said two dead and more stabbed.

Two people hacked up by terrorist in London today...there you go.

Jihadi
Al Qaeda
Fantasised about carrying out such an attack.

Released from prison halfway thru sentence for 13 terror offences.
PC, tolerant Britain strikes again.
You'd have to wonder when Britain is actually going to get tough on terrorists and suspected terrorists.
Why wasn't that guy being followed 24/7 by an armed agent ready to shoot him as soon as he grabbed the machete/knife?

If they'd tossed him in prison for 30 years instead of 3 years or in Gitmo until the war on terror is over he wouldn't have been able to stab people.

Yes, so many on the terror watch list the agencies can't track them all.

Britain/Britons were warned but refused to listen.

Trump's 6.7 million jobs created are behind what Clinton did in his first term. The current rate suggests that Trump's 4 years will be behind  Carter, too.

Different times.
Massive immigration should be stopped, then not as many new jobs would be needed.
Too many people and not enough jobs? ...lose enough people so everyone has a job.

US subsidises its farmers by ...rumoured to be 47%
Japan by 54%.
France by 73%, "to maintain the culture of rural France".

No such subsidies in Australia...as a result family farms are disappearing fast, replaced by big corporate farms.
As luck would have it, family-owned dairy farms will last long enough for my lifetime. China s buying them as fast as it can go. Bought another major company recently, one owning/selling milk juices, including the one I buy [used to buy].
I switched to a local dairy farmers' co op milk, costs more, but hey, the local dairy farmers get to keep the profits.
And local family orange juice company, not owned by China.
China, buying up the world one farm, one house property, one company at a time.

Helicopter in Kobe Bryant Crash Wasn’t Legal to Fly in Poor Visibility

When the helicopter carrying the basketball legend Kobe Bryant crashed into a fogbound mountainside on Sunday, killing all nine people onboard, the pilot who was struggling to avoid the clouds did not have the legal authority to navigate with his instruments because the aircraft owner did not have the necessary federal certification, according to three sources familiar with the charter helicopter company’s operations.

Island Express Helicopters, which owned the Sikorsky S-76B, had a Federal Aviation Administration operating certification that limited its pilots to flying under what are known as visual flight rules, or V.F.R., with at least three miles of visibility and a cloud ceiling no lower than 1,000 feet above the ground.
The company did not have certification for its pilots to fly with instruments, said Kurt Deetz, a pilot and former safety manager at the company.

Rules get broken, people die.
No "terrain, pull up" warnings [as in Capt Sully's jet], how is a pilot going to avoid crashing?

Dude - just fucking leave it already.

New York Times article. They're concerned, you should be too.

Not a big surprise if things weren't done by the book all the time or some regulations not followed.  Goes on all the time.  Exposed when something goes wrong.  But that's of course why the rules are there.  Best practices, etc.

Maybe the regulation breakers should be prosecuted when things go wrong.
Then things might change.

A section of the wall blew over, for whatever reason. They'll fix it, and continue with construction.
The wall must be built.
The borders must be sealed.
The deportation bus fleet must be rolled out of the sheds.
Time to banish from the landscape some people already in America, and only let in nice people who pass strict identification, health, and background checks.
Time to take back the country from violent animals, criminals etc, and thereby MakeAmericaGreatAgain.

Anyone who is against the building of Trump's wall and the sealing of the Mexican border should sit on a chair in a dark room and have a serious rethink of their position.

https://www.whitehouse.gov/articles/need-know-violent-animals-ms-13/

MS-13 is a transnational gang that has brought violence, fear, and suffering to American communities. MS-13, short for Mara Salvatrucha, commits shocking acts of violence to instill fear, including machete attacks, executions, gang rape, human trafficking, and more. In their motto, the animals of MS-13 make clear their goal is to “kill, rape, control.” The gang has more than 10,000 members in the United States spreading violence and suffering.

Recent investigations have revealed MS-13 gang leaders based in El Salvador have been sending representatives into the United States illegally to connect the leaders with local gang members. These foreign-based gang leaders direct local members to become even more violent in an effort to control more territory.

President Trump’s entire Administration is working tirelessly to bring these violent animals to justice.

Bitch please.

Just pull the covers over your head and suck your thumb.

One man reportedly had his heart hacked out of his body.
You should be supporting the Trump Admin's campaign to rid the country of MS-13 violent thugs/rapists/killers.
