68% of White Evangelicals say America has no responsibility to house refugees fleeing famine and war. That’s 25% over the national average

"Christians"

True...America only has responsibility for its own people.
Not America's fault people in Africa, Asia, Middle East, South America, Central America etc are always fighting amongst themselves in civil wars.
America, although having no responsibility to house refugees from overpopulated, often corrupt places, has a very generous resettlement program for refugees, and a very generous foreign aid program.
Homeless, poor, hungry people in America eating out of trash bins and living in filthy conditions on the streets might say "too generous a foreign aid budget, charity begins at home."

Anne Frank had no choice.
Asylum-seekers/illegal immigrants/economic immigrants have a choice.

The children had no choice.

I was asked why I’m so angry?
I wonder when did children in cages dull your own anger and humanity?
When did you succumb to your hatred of someone’s skin?
Don’t worry about my anger.
Worry about your apathy.

Happy 4th.

Children have no choice...their parents make the choices for them.
Kids wind up dead...parents' fault.
Safe in Mexico, parents chose to risk the lives of the children.
Exactly the same as the babies, children and their parents...safe in Indonesia, they perished at sea.
Sea, desert, rivers...same 'deal'.

Now that the trickle has become a flood, as it was always going to be...US has to find somewhere to house them all until their identities, backgrounds, and health etc can be established.
Whose fault is it that they now find themselves in cages?
The parents' fault.
They were safe in Mexico, should've stayed there.

Happy 4th July!

America kicked the British out.      United States of America.
Australia embraced the British [and still does today, long after it had to].   Commonwealth [Federation] of Australia.

'Funny' how things work out.

Things neither Kiiid nor Ward are prepared to address include this:

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/trump-border-crisis-nazis-nuremberg-trial-ben-ferencz-family-separation-migrants-un-a8485606.html

Crimes against humanity.

They support it. So does Luee, apparently. And Bambi-ignorance, for all that he claims otherwise now.

Leaving children in detention with adults can put the children at risk, if there are no family detention centre villas/motel room type accom provided.
Separate the children if necessary, but proper records must be kept of who's who.
ID nos tattooed on arms, not necessary, ...hmmm, maybe microchipping...can't just be losing kids after they are separated from their parents.

Of course the best solution is an impenetrable fence/wall to seal the border...and applications for asylum only done thru a third country or UN camps.

Kid cares about women.

meanwhile....

From WaPo:

As G-20 reaffirms fight against climate change, Trump again resists

While 18 countries and the European Union reiterated their commitment to the Paris climate accord, the United States was the lone dissenter as President Trump railed against wind and solar power.

45 could not pour piss out of a boot if the instructions were printed on the heel.

Trump's not the only one who thinks wind and solar are not the answer, yet.
No 1 radio host's audience can see it too.

Then there's the money...US taxpayers' money he'd be giving away;

At the Paris Conference in 2015 where the Agreement was negotiated, the developed countries reaffirmed the commitment to mobilize $100 billion a year in climate finance by 2020, and agreed to continue mobilizing finance at the level of $100 billion a year until 2025.[50]

Oh, and...

Australia won’t give money to Green Climate Fund, says PM

So I guess we'll have to figure out which politicians are for open borders. It strikes me that those that hire "illegals" as cheap labor for their various real estate holdings certainly love the idea of "open borders". Don't you agree?

By their deeds they could be seen as loving the idea of open borders.
Maybe they don't actually do the hiring themselves.
If they do do the hiring themselves, or even know about illegals being hired, then that would likely indicate to some that they 'approve' of open borders.

If people are entering the country "illegally" and are being "apprehended" then the borders aren't "open".  You don't need a Harvard education to figure that out, but perhaps a class in logic.  But before I go any further, once again, I'll wait on Kid's stellar research skills (I'm sure Twitter will serve up the info) to see who's advocating open borders.

They are basically open...most of those apprehended then released into the community with a court date, never to be seen again.
'Sanctuary' cities could be seen as 'open borders'.

Politicians aren't going to be saying they're for open borders, even if they are.

Of course, we don't have open borders and nobody is advocating them.

Sure looks like open borders;

https://www.heritage.org/immigration/commentary/yes-there-crisis-the-border

1. In March, authorities apprehended 92,607 immigrants who entered the country illegally — the highest monthly total in more than a decade.

2. When they are stopped or caught, all are given court dates and then released into the U.S. Most fail to show up to their court hearings.

3. The really ugly news is that, despite knowing what the problems are and how to fix them, Congress has for years failed to act.

Here’s an example of the “Illiberal Left” using extreme imagery to advance a political message and I’d use such every day of the week and twice on Sunday to abolish these immoral and unAmerican policies of this Administration.

Fuck the GOP donor base and their fucking enablers.

You won't like the end result of open borders, with anyone and everyone who so desires just walking in by the millions.
Eventually you will be paying for them to live in resort hotels after all the available free housing has been used up...as happened in Australia when the Left opened the floodgates [that had been shut] and 50,000 asylum-seekers poured in on 800 boats...and 1000+ men, women, children, and babies perished at sea/on rocks.
Or your parks will be squalid tent cities.
You, will be paying, in more than one way.

I don't know.  Maybe he should have spoken more plain english.

If we agree - that is always a good thing.

Here is the article and photos of the flyers/pamphlets;

smh = 'Sydney Morning Herald'...major newspaper...ok to click on.

'Much can be learned!': Trump praises Australia's asylum seeker policy

US President Donald Trump has praised Australia's "Illegal Immigration" policy just hours before he is due to meet Prime Minister Scott Morrison for dinner at the G20 summit in Japan.

"These flyers depict Australia's policy on Illegal Immigration. Much can be learned!" Mr Trump tweeted on Thursday morning local time.

#####

Flyers/pamphlets dropped from the sky etc, spread around in relative areas.

Wise man that Mr Trump, he can see what works.

Trump thinks much can be learned from a series of flyers....

Much can be learnt from flyers..
...if you have the attention span of a toddler.

A long attention span is not required to understand the flyers;

'NO WAY'

'YOU WON'T BE SETTLED IN AUSTRALIA'"

'Australia's borders are closed to illegal migration'

'YOU WILL NOT MAKE AUSTRALIA HOME'

Simple.
Short and sweet.
Finally they got the message.
Navy had to tow some boats back to Indonesia, but the cost was well worth it.
Some still tried it on...they're the ones now stuck on Nauru and Manus Island PNG.[some have gone to America, some have taken the govt's money and gone home, some are still there].

No degree from Harvard needed for this one either.

Coal is still needed for when the sun doesn't shine and the wind doesn't blow.
For the same reason you can only use coal power when you plug your extension cord directly into the power generating plant. Jesus you are an idiot.

Idiocy is believing that at present coal is not needed in the world to supply the base-load power the population requires...at an affordable price.

Which part of this statement don't you agree with?

Australia is dead anyway. It will be a zero emission country in about 30 years because there won’t be any people there to use energy. No great loss.

There'll be plenty of people here.
The populations of China and India are going to have to live somewhere.
