Melania Trump gets booed at drugs speech

US President Donald Trump's wife Melania faced rare boos Tuesday when she gave a speech on the dangers of drug addiction in the east coast city of Baltimore.

First ladies are usually spared the rougher edges of US politics and Melania Trump has been no exception, despite the bruising nature of her husband's presidency.
Boos and shrieking erupted from the audience of mostly middle and high school students when she walked on stage at the Baltimore Youth Summit on Opioid Awareness.

Loud talking continued in the audience as she began her brief speech, in which she wished the children "a healthy and drug-free life." There were more boos, as well as cheers, at the end.

The president provoked a furious backlash in July when he took to Twitter to bash the historic port city of 600,000 people as a "disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess" unfit for humans.

Democratic lawmakers described the provocative attacks as racist while Baltimore Mayor Bernard Young said the remarks were "completely unacceptable."

#####

Big waste of time...they love their drugs.
They keep on dying at music festivals etc, but you can't tell them anything.
Know everything, know nothing!

Remarks 'completely unacceptable'?    or are they true?

...in which women of retirement age fend off home invaders with their decades of might. We’ve read about the 79-year-old great grandmother who scared a would-be thief into a closet after shooting at him; the Philly great-grandmother who chased her burglar, bloodied by her bullets, out of her home; and the Georgia grandmother who fought off two armed attackers who tried to tie her up, which she categorized as a “grannies gone wild” feat.

Guns are the best defensive weapon for homeowners.
Fists etc are often not enough, the Aussie guy in Texas shot dead in his own home by invaders proved that.

Another sheriff dead.

Williams is the fifth Alabama law enforcement officer killed this year in the line of duty. He leaves behind a wife and children, who were on the scene. “We’re taking good care of them,” Jarrett said.

It's a wonder anyone puts their hand up to wear the badge these days [or in times past].
Sitting ducks they surely are.

Bulletproof vests, bulletproof helmets?

With LA etc overflowing with homeless people, many who are mentally ill [a few weeks living on the streets would be enough to send anyone crazy], fossicking thru bins for food, using the streets as toilets because there's nowhere else, living in squalor, ...it's a very bad idea to have open borders and just let millions more poor and homeless pour in.

I'd be embarrassed to be in charge of CA.

What were the detention camps during World War II but the racist muting of Japanese-Americans and their basic rights?

#####

Self defence by the USA.
Prevention of espionage.
Protection of Japanese Americans from harm.

What was the reason for Japanese internment camps?
The objectives of the order were to prevent espionage and to protect persons of Japanese descent from harm at the hands of Americans who had strong anti-Japanese attitudes.

This is a hell of a piece...

Japanese-Americans in WW2...need to blame the leaders of Japan, Japanese people in Japan who supported the leaders and their actions, and Japanese spies in Hawaii etc for what happened to them.

Kaepernick has to take responsibility for his own actions, and the consequences thereof.

A 2020 calendar of Vlad has just been released.
Also a 2020/2021 one.
Vlad's ratings are sky-high.

Donald should release a calendar, then his ratings could soar to sky-high levels too.

Cromartie death penalty case

It's a 'joke'.
He should've been afforded DNA testing.

Georgia stands condemned...for having death chambers in which it kills human beings at all...and for execution-slaughtering Mr Cromartie without DNA testing in this case.
It's what they do at the slaughterhouse, walk the animals in alive and take them out dead.
Death chambers...so much like 'Auschwitz'...time USA bulldozed them all.

Moral of the story;

. Live in Georgia at your own peril. If you do already, consider moving out.
. Never have any friends, they could lead you astray and into a life of crime and early death. They could ruin your life. They could cause you to make poor life choices.
Get a dog instead.

If Mr Cromartie had stayed home with a dog instead of going out with his friends he would've had a much better life.

Georgia stands condemned!

Wednesday’s execution came shortly after the U.S. Supreme Court, without explanation, rejected two appeals by the inmate’s attorneys. The defense lawyers had also recently asked state and federal courts to allow DNA testing of evidence collected from the shootings that they say could prove he wasn't the shooter. The state countered that the DNA evidence being sought couldn't prove his innocence.

Lawyer Shawn Nolan called the denial of DNA tests “so sad and frankly outrageous” in a statement after the execution. “In this day and age, where DNA testing is routine, it is shocking that Georgia decided to end this man’s life without allowing us, his attorneys, access to the materials to do these simple tests,” Nolan said.

"It was a random dude just ran up to the balloon, stuck a knife in it, and ran off. We had police close by because of another driver earlier, so they went over and arrested him and his getaway driver," Gulas told CNN through Twitter.

Whats the usual sentence for a balloon attack?  And what the fuck took so long.

The baby blimp is free speech.  You and Red keep saying how strongly you favor that.

Wonder how long that free speech would last if Trump-inc hoisted two balloons mocking two Democrat women.

Like this, for example.

"It's climate change" shout the usual 'suspects'.

More like lightning, arson, and in one case cops laid road spikes to stop the car of a wanted person...the spikes shredded the tyres, they fell off and sparks from the rims ignited grass/bushland starting a massive forest fire.

That balloon should never have been allowed.

When 'Sarah Palin' was hanging in a noose from a roof in LA...they called it 'art'.
And 'John McCain' was burning to death in a chimney on the same roof...they called it 'art'.

Didn't call it 'art' though when they found 'Barack Obama' hanging in a noose from a tree at a university in Kentucky, in reply.
