The problem with Am. XXV, sect. 4 is that it seems to depend on the VP's disposition to act - and would usually result in the VP assuming the office and duties of the President.  <shudder>

Re the futures traders cleaning up - what's disturbing is how the SEC just shrugs at all this.  Who will regulate the regulators?
Keep in mind we do not know what the regulators know and it may be that there is no indication the sales relate to inside knowledge as opposed to shrewd reading of the situation. We.also do not know if late day tradings on that type of security is normal. But it does smell fishy.

Josh

I think HAMILTON has had enough of a banning that he should be let back on the forum

Please consider, with certain boundaries

Thanks
Fuck that asshole.
If that asshole respected boundaries he never would have been kicked out. Fuck him.

Come on, man - be an adult.
Would you held your mangod Trump to that standard....

Hamilton had every opportunity to stay within the lax and permissive boundaries of this forum and repeatedly failed to do so. There is no reason to believe allowing him back in would have any positive effect on his conduct. Fornicate him.

Is that adult enough?

Of course it helps to know some of the backstory on the Kurds in Turkey....

Excellent post, covering Erdogan's despotic schemes toward Kurds.   Kurds are "terrorists" in the way that people are terrorists when they have a jackboot pressed on their face and attempt to dislodge themselves.  People should also see the complete text of the October 9 letter from Trump - the growing dementia is plain to see....

He has all the best words!

What did the president say?

Earlier reports suggested the president said Turkey's operation in Syria was "not our problem". In fact, Mr Trump said: "They have a problem at a border. It's not our border. We shouldn't be losing lives over it."

Mr Trump said he saw the situation on the Turkey-Syria border as "strategically brilliant" for the US.

"Our soldiers are out of there. Our soldiers are totally safe. They've got to work it out. Maybe they can do it without fighting," he said.

"We're watching and we're negotiating and we're trying to get Turkey to do the right thing, because we'd like to stop wars regardless."

The president also said that the Kurds are "not angels".

"They fought with us. We made a lot of money for them to fight with us, and that's okay," he said. "They did well when they fought with us. They didn't do so well when they didn't fight with us

Mr Trump added that the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) - a rebel group that fights for Kurdish autonomy in Turkey - "is probably worse at terror and more of a terrorist threat in many ways than" Islamic State.

President Trump also told reporters that he did not give Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan a "green light" for the operation, insisting that he wrote a "very powerful letter" to Mr Erdogan after speaking to him on the phone about the incursion.

On Wednesday, a letter emerged dated 9 October - the day Turkey launched its offensive - in which Mr Trump wrote to President Erdogan: "Don't be a tough guy. Don't be a fool!"

"You don't want to be responsible for slaughtering thousands of people, and I don't want to be responsible for destroying the Turkish economy - and I will,"
the letter said

Erdogan's move.  He will be cautious, I'd think.
Letter dated 10/9. I believe we have already seen Erdogan's move.

Did you read that letter? Jesus what a fucking fool our president is.

Wow -

an 8-year old's honesty could show they jumped the gun on "murder"

The 28-year-old woman was playing video games with her nephew in the back bedroom of the home when they heard noises coming from outside, the document says.

She then pulled her handgun from her purse, her nephew told police, and raised it. She was pointing it toward the window when she was shot and fell to the ground.

While I realize you would excuse the police for killing any POC, perhaps short of a gangland style execution,  you may want to take a look at what actually constitutes murder.

Last night's result portends a 7-gamer

Tonight's result portends a 4 or 5 game series.
Time for Adam Wainwright to squeeze some ketchup on a sock!

Trump’s accusations are all confessions of his personal guilt and culpability. He’s the kind of moron who only misuses pronouns, especially when his ass is hanging out. It is a condition he suffers from more and more acutely with every passing day.

I sure hope Trump follows through on his threat to sue Schiff and other leading dems!
The discovery process will be hilarious.

"... but I will not place American service members in the middle of a longstanding conflict between the Turks and the Kurds, this is not why we are in Syria," Esper said.

Sounds just like something OBAMA would say

Only in mindless right wing news bubbles. Obama understood alliances.

Guns are great.
Every woman and girl over 10 in America should carry one...so that if a man enters the female toilets and tries to get to the women and girls...they can whip out their guns and say "back off dirtbag" and if the man smashed the door down, they can shoot him.

No need for the women and girls to be sitting ducks and murdered, as shown on Law and Order just now on my tv.
God what a frightening place the inside of your head must be.

What's America famous for?  Toilet rapists and guns.  And the guns are just to get at the girls....
That movie is a gift that just keeps giving.
