Was it Lawfare when Mayor Marion Barry of Washington DC got busted for smoking crack cocaine in a hotel room? He said it was all a set up, and he was re-elected.

Salute,

Tony V.
Yes, in the sense RedDick means "Lawfare": a politician who gets caught committing crimes tries to deflect from his guilt by claiming his prosecution was politically motivated. Usually people just recognize that as the squealing of a stuck pig in its last throes. Sadly, RedDick and the rest of the MAGA crew have swallowed the lie whole.
Once again voters prove the discerning wisdom of Abraham Lincoln.

The request for permission to file a motion to dismiss brought by attorneys for President-elect Donald Trump in the Manhattan business records case has been granted, a significant win for Trump and a sign the matter could be headed for dismissal.

In a matter of two weeks the disgusting Biden tactic of LAWFARE will be tossed on the heap  of  rotting campaign tactics.
The ploy to cast Trump as a convicted felon to deny him the Presidency was shoved down the democrats throats by the voters.
When all the legal papers are signed Trump will stand convicted of nothing.

Yo! He is already convicted!
Nope. Not until the Judge says he is.
And that is not going to happen.

A JURY of ones peers CONVICTS.

After that a judge imposes sentence.
Uh, it does not work that way.
But, so what?
The voters(also peers) looked at LAWFARE  and rejected  it.  To the everlasting shame of the democrat party.

Calling you dumber than a box of rocks would be an insult to a box of rocks.
LOL
Your real dumb shit can be seen in a mirror. 🪞

Hmm. Then why did Trump get returned to the White House in a landslide election?

Many US voters are information-poor and gullible.
Some are just stupid, like the ones who think winning 49.8 percent of the popular vote is a landslide.
I think I can get a good deal for you and Harry on a slow boat to Hungary.
ROFL!
(China is much more expensive)

LOL at conservatives celebrating a convicted criminal walking free because of a technicality.
Technicality?
Other than being a case built on no substance but pure hatred of Trump what would that be?
The   case was was built on facts that convinced a jury at trial. That  is the American way.

Hmm. Then why did Trump get returned to the White House in a landslide election? Seems the JURY  turned out to be the voters which told your corrupt politically driven judicial system to stuff it.
I have acclaimed tour services to help you find tickets to Hungary.
LOL

Democrats ran on preserving democracy while doing everything they could to destroy it.
They deserved the humiliation the voters gave them.

Which is the number one qualification for Attorney General
Fealty to the Constitution Donald Trump
Nice to know we will be getting an AG who can be bought off of an investigation for $25,000.
LOL
You embarrass yourself.
The Gaetz snafu was due to Trump.  So much for the notion that he can roll over Senate Republicans to get what he wants.
Interesting to note that MSNC commentator  Jason Johnson warned that President Elect Donald Trump s new pick(Pam Bondi) to lead the Justice Department should spark fear among the left because she is COMPETENT and could actually execute his agenda.

Yeah. What you consistently accused the Biden administration of, LAWFARE

With MAGA every accusation is a confession.

Drinking early today?

Figured Rump had an overall strategy of hideous nominations followed by fallback noms who were more capable at corruption.  Bondi was on Rumps legal team in his 2019 impeachment trial, so he is filling his DOJ with his former lawyers.  If they will lift their skirts for a mere 25K, even better.
Going to be a long four years as you and Harry wander in the wilderness with the rest of the democrats.
Two years. That is when history indicates we take back the house, if not also the Senate. Barring Trump lying us into a war like Bush.* Enjoy it now.

* Or being Fucking Awesome like William Jefferson Clinton.
Four years.
But you knew that.
Two years. Your "landslide" - a term you continue to misuse - will likely have your party at best hold serve, and maybe even lose one seat in the House this cycle. Especially with Ramaswamy promising his little parlor game will be recommending adding 3 million people to the unemployment lines while cutting social services for those who lack a billion or so dollars about 4 months before the election.
See my previous post.

News of Note

Various news organizations

Former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and retired Gen. Mark Milley went from reportedly warning that President-elect Trump is fascist to the core to saying that the U.S. will be fine under his leadership.
Many of Trump harshest critics have gone from cautioning that he would be a threat to democracy to speaking positively about how America will fare under him, now that he won the presidential election.

Landslide wins help the winner.
