playing intense hoops

and so many great individual performances

He is certainly in favor of a strong executive branch.

As long as he is on the throne.

He respects no other legal authority.

He's a fascist autocrat with a history of demeaing the office, our democracy and its institutions.

All four DoJ attorneys on the Stone case have resigned.

LOL away, Ward.

Der Donald learned his lesson.

Without meaningful oversight and a complicit Republican party he is becoming the disctator he has always dreamed of and can do whatever the fuck he wants.

So if i understand this correctly, the take away is we helped improve the Twins chances of beating the Yankees in the ALDS with some more starting pitching, (yeah right) and then the LAD's chances of beating the Ys in the Series

“Abuse of Power and obstruction of Congress” neither of which come close to the constitutional definitions of “ high crimes and misdemeanors”.

As our resident Constitutional scholar, I'm sure you can point to exactly where in the Constitution "high crimes and misdemeanors" is defined as you're defining it.
You mean like in section 4 four of Article Two of the actual US Constitution ?

The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors."

If you followed the arguments of Adam Shiff  remember he maintained before the Senate that Trump did commit Treason and Bribery. Yet the Impeachment never mentions either, just the nebulous contentions of “ abuse of power” and “ obstruction of Congress”.  The Senate considered both to be nowhere close to impeachable. Indeed, democrat Senator Joe Manchin just argued that there was never any path to conviction of Trump on those charges. Instead Manchin said it would have been better to censure the President.

The same Senate the refused to look at any additional evidence.

Some of the same Senators who declared abuse of power was impeachable 20 years ago.

And Manchin's maunderings are almost less reliable than yours!

The notion that abuse of power is somehow a lesser crime than lying about sex is uniquely GOP.

The GOP combined abuse of power and lying about sex while pursuing Clinton for almost everything imaginable but settling for lying about a blow-job.

Lets remember that as the GOP was hunting Clinton for his indiscretions, Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich was cheating on his cancer-ridden wife, his successor-designee, Robert Livingston, had to decline the position following revelations of his extramarital affair. Eventually the GOP settled on Denny Hastert, serial pedophile, as Speaker of the House.

I absolutely do not understand the logic that QPQ/trading/negotiating/extorting/bribing a foreign govrnment's help in our election by investigating a politcal rival in exchange for  military assistant already approved, is anything but a high crime and impeachable. Even if there were no QPQ etc, wouldn't the receiver of such help then be beholden to that foreign power for a future favor, that may be in direct conflict with our national interests?

How would our founding father's not consider tampering with our elections by a foreign power not to be an impeachable offense?

I mean shit it was like yesterday they had fought a war to get from underneath the influence of Britain. And to be independent. Would they be open so to a President horse-trading the country's independence for his personal gain?

I'm taking the Pats and laying the points

I may have to reconsider my SB pick.

January was a tough month for Patriots and their fans.

Pats lost to the Titans 20-13 a few weeks ago

Last night Patriots lost democracy 51-49

Go 49ers!
