It was fun until the wheels fell off.

---The recent announcement by California Attorney General Xavier Becerra that he will prosecute any California employer that cooperates with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (“ICE”) in the enforcement of federal immigration law deserves a swift and hard-hitting response by federal law enforcement officials.  U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions should throw the proverbial book at Becerra by having him arrested and charged, at a minimum, with conspiracy and obstruction of justice.---

Sessions is busy working on conspiracy and obstruction of justice charges for himself, or hadn’t you heard?

Bambu, when your ass is the organ you look through (and process news with), it tends to distort the picture.

If you read the ripples of rumors, and think about the high teen salary guys who would have probably moved for a serviceable expiring big and a second round pick or something, Kanter could be a good asset that way next year if he opts in.

Tony, if you extend that idea from China to Asia generally, you reach one of the major philosophical purposes of the TPP agreement.

Slave labor is also what they’re getting in ICE prisons from those they detain before they get a hearing.

See my previous post about pelts.

This is from the BBC, presenting interviews with people in Washington state talking about the ICE arrests/deportations and how they didn't expect what they are getting.

(This is one of those outrageous posts I make, fishing for reactions from the outraged.

Heaven forfend that people just discuss the stuff.)

They didn’t figure their pelts would be worth money to those who had been issued ICE hunting liscences.

Though the total volume of information leaked is probably already surpassed all prior administrations save Nixon’s (give it a year), I don’t believe the leak to crazy shit ratio is much worse than is typical in the White House. The shitshow shithouse shithole we know is very likely only the shitty tip of the supersized supershitty iceberg not yet come to light.

the Dems would be lucky to have you Tony. I for one am glad you’re aboard. There is plenty of room for solutions and spirituality and solidarity over here and it doesn’t stink so much of stale cruelty and sour grapes.

Driver, I think she has a deeply suppressed viewpoint shaped by a long series of disturbing experiences which we may actually get to hear about in some detail once the seventh or eighth Stormy is uncovered. A woman’s got to have limits.

I’m not saying they are all named Stormy (cause that would be weird), but you get my point.

Which is why over the weekend, the Dream Act picked up 4 points of popularity to the point where 47% of respondents think it is worth shutting the government down to pass it compared to only 32% who don’t.

It’s good to live in an age where republican robocalls and Russian bots are losing their power to persuade.

We did a little tap dance on that report and it’s jinned up figures when it came out. There may even have been some speculation that it was designed specifically to get your panties in a twist by stoking your tribalism.

Ryan, Trump, the GOP, despite their evil intentions otherwise, are going to have to fund children’s health insurance.

It’s a big win for the U.S.A. thanks to the Democrats.

It was a big political win for the Democrats.

But since you are already sitting on it, Red, spin baby, spin.

Except for Beasley, our strong guys aren’t very athletic and our athletic guys aren’t very strong. Randle, Nance, and Kuzma are all enough of both to be too much for us. This fact defines much of our ceiling at this point.

Clarkson is very good. I think trading Timmy for him would be a lateral move.

This road trip may devalue our assets to the point where no deals are advisable as we won’t have anyone to sell high.

---CNN Poll Shows Amnesty Advocates Are Big Loser in Shutdown---

Loser position for dems. Yeah, yeah not in NY and California.

In Hungary they are gearing up to fight the religious war you pine for. If you expatriate yourself to there, we will have an easier time integrating the immigrants we need and who need us into our society.

The time is approaching for Mueller to have a little chat with Melania...

Betrayal and public exposure can make a heady brew out of a decade of sour grapes...

That was a chumpy outing. Frank got too much leash at the end of the third. I’m not confident that once he goes off track at this point he has the resources to recover.

Development...
