Australia agreed to join the Coalition of the Willing on the basis that her special forces would fight, and others would "train, protect, support and persuade".

Still waiting.

Watch Rambo 3...it shows all.

WTF do you think "refugee densities" means, Bambi?

Those are the per capita figures.

Like I said, you are sooooo dense.

Provide support for your claim, if you would.

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-12-21/fact-check-george-brandis-refugees-per-capita/9241276

"Australia, per capita, runs the most generous refugee and humanitarian migration program in the world," Senator Brandis said.

The verdict

Senator Brandis's claim is misleading.

Australia's "offshore" refugee and humanitarian resettlement program — that is, people facing persecution or violence elsewhere who are selected by the Government to come to Australia — is among the most generous in per capita terms, although it is currently not the most generous. That title goes to Canada.

The People didn't want to invade Afghanistan at all...having seen what happened to Russia.
Didn't want to invade Iraq either.
But Alliances are alliances, one cannot pick and choose.

Then as seems usual...Aussie troops were called cowards etc.

We're not cowards say Aussie troops

Australian infantry troops are ashamed and furious that they are being kept from combat and regarded as cowards by allied troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Army chief Lieutenant General Peter Leahy has confirmed that morale has been hit by operations that place special forces in combat roles but keep infantrymen in protection, support and policing roles.

In Afghanistan, where American, British and Canadian counterparts were aggressively used against the enemy, the restriction of Australian infantry to the protection of its reconstruction task force had drawn adverse comment and questions from the international media.

"The restrictions and policies enforced on infantrymen in Iraq have resulted in the widespread perception that our army is plagued by institutional cowardice."
The complaints were aired in the official Australian Army Journal by officers who questioned the future of foot soldiers kept at the rear despite world-class training and equipment.

"This is no longer infantry wearing red jackets and white cross-straps, taking on the army of another king.

"What we're seeing now is that we're required to work in different populations to protect, to support and persuade ... "

Infantry not allowed into combat?
Why not?
Because bambu-ilk said NO!

"Our troops could be used as cannon-fodder, like in WW1 when they were made charge German machine guns in France and were slaughtered in their many thousands.
Landed at Gallipoli...lambs to the slaughter.
WW2...ordered to charge machine guns by demanding foreign commanders in PNG...more slaughter.
No more slaughter!"

What's frustrating is that it seems like it wouldn't be that excruciating for Bambu to renounce bigotry, to further extend a tendril of open mindedness that sprouted with having that Muslim lady over for lunch.  If he and Ms Bambu managed that, and a real conversation where you are faced with someone's humanity, then it's not impossible to have more tete-a-tete like that and nourish the understanding that 13 year old Anne Frank achieved with "I still believe most people are good."

Renounce bigotry?

But what is bigotry?

Bigotry - intolerance towards those who hold different opinions from oneself.

The thing that you and many of your brethren are confused by is that intolerance towards bigots is not what is meant by bigotry.

Confused?
Not us...basic English and basic comprehension we can manage.

"intolerance towards those who hold different opinions from oneself" is crystal clear to us.

Does that mean that you understand basic things like "Australia is..." second only to Canada being flat wrong?

Can you admit it? Or do you feel compelled to just pretend not to have seen it so you can avoid admitting how wrong you were?

It's not wrong.

I wrote; "Australia resettles more refugees via the UN per capita besides Canada than any other country."
Which is correct.

You posted some figures about 'refugee densities' in Lebabon etc.

Way to duck and cover.

Us questioning your attitude toward, and treatment of, people of different creeds and ethnicity is not bigotry.  It's the same freedom of speech and critical thinking that you enjoy here.  I will tolerate your prejudiced remarks about Muslims and blacks and liberals in that you are free to make them.  But I will exercise my freedom of speech to critique what you say.  Tolerance doesn't mean feigning agreement or acceptance of views I find to be wrongheaded.

All good.

In addition to eggs, crackers are also quite dangerous,

http://www.thedailybeast.com/new-zealand-shooting-its-time-to-attack-white-nationalism-for-the-terror-group-it-is?ref=home

And the very first step in that process is to quit making excuses or inventing euphemisms. The fight is not against conservatives, the right wing, the alt-right—it is against white nationalist terrorism and its apologists.

Well that's nice to know, because it sure seems like it is.

The author is saying not to call you conservative, right wing, or alt right. The author is suggesting you own up to being in the white national terrorist party. He’s not making the false argument that there is some difference between them. He’s saying you don’t deserve to carry a label that shields the public or your snowflake self from your everyday evil.

Says thee.
If he wants to start a fight against Conservatives, and Right-wing folk, then he and those with him do what they do.

The author states that; "The fight is not against conservatives, the right wing, the alt-right—"  quite clearly.

It sure seems like it is;

https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump-angrily-urges-jeanine-pirros-return-after-she-was-bumped-from-fox-news-time-slot-in-wake-of-sharia-comment-about-rep-ilhan-omar?source=articles&via=rss

Trump Demands: Fox News ‘Bring Back’ Host Jeanine Pirro After She Was Suspended for Rep. Ilhan Omar Comments

News that Pirro had been bumped from the Fox News lineup set off a Twitter tirade from President Trump on Sunday.

Once again, it seems like it because you, like Pirro, are a deplorable islamophobe and bigot.

Thought there was supposed to be free speech in your country...unlike in my country where anyone with a Conservative/Right wing view seems to have  basically been silenced.
Seemingly silenced in public, silenced in private, and silenced in the schools/universities, if parents who ring the radio are to be believed. They're saying that as far as 'climate change', 'political views', 'religion', 'refugees', 'immigration',' views on society' etc are concerned... their children learn things at home that they would never express outside their homes...so instead they just go along with the Leftist etc agendas that abound seemingly wherever they go.
That they tell and write what the teachers/profs want to hear, pass their exams, get their degrees and move on with their lives in adulthood.

'Judge Jeanine' seems to be suffering the same fate as my no1 radio host...'advertisers'.

Some advertisers protested the remark, and Fox said her views do not “reflect those of the network.” Instead of Justice With Judge Jeanine, viewers saw a rerun of of the documentary series Scandalous in the 9 p.m. Saturday slot.

You'll no doubt be pleased to learn that the station looks like it won't be renewing my no1 radio host's contract that expires soon.
The Leftist/PC brigades have won. The champagne corks will be popping. You might be able to hear the cheering where you are.
His health is not the best, and he's obviously wasting his time even trying to talk sense to the masses. He should take it easy for the rest of his life.
The young are listening to FM radio, internet social media... where they have a good time and only seem to hear miniscule political comment and that seems to be left-wing..and their biggest concerns seem to be "pill testing at music festivals" and "buying eggs for protesters".

here's the video;

Try ...attacker with the egg was jumped on by 'two bogans' not 30.
Attacker hit the senator from behind.."coward's punch"...he should be charged with such a punch/hit under "coward punch" laws.
Senator was quite entitled to hit him back, self defence.
As attacker started to move forward again, the senator hit him again.
All good.
That's what you get when you go around assaulting people, they often hit you right back.
