You have to sit back and appreciate how whack-a-doodle you need to be to believe this 4,000 terrorist thing.  Really?  In one year 4,000 terrorists tried to enter the country?  Next to how many attacks?  What, we stopped them all?  Pure and shameless fear mongering.

Its in line with the Minnesota woman who was so whipped up by Trump's rhetoric she feared that the people in the caravan were going to take up residence at her lake house when she wasn't there.  And this is the kind of tin-foil hat thinking these people are trying to base our national policy on.

4000 is a real number

From fiscal 2017.

LOL.  Like I said...

4,000 is a real number.  As is 8,549,639.

The point is that it doesn't mean what you think it means.

As it was explained for fiscal 2017...yes, I understand it fully.

Ms Sanders had the year wrong.  And initially - if the Fox and Friends quote is accurate, she misspoke badly re: the number and the Southern border..

Are we attributing any "4000" quotes to President Trump?

4000 wasn't the question.

4000 IDENTIFIED TERRORISTS or SUSPECTED TERRORISTS AT THE SOUTHERN BORDER was the issue.

Yes.

I just watched the video from Friday.

She tossed in "southern border" and the statement became a mess.

The 4000 is real.

Is "we are most vulnerable at our southern border" real?  Case can be made without numbers.  Seems we are doing a nice job at the airports.

Octavio-Cortez is the latest practitioner of the “ unofficial” democrat party National Anthem:
When things go wrong I feel real bad.
I'm just a soul whose intentions are good
Oh Lord, please don't let me be misunderstood

My apologies to The Animals.
The right's obsession with AOC is hilarious.
In sports lingo she committed an unforced error.
Then had no moral compass to apologize.
You probably have no idea why this is so fucking hilarious.
i think Octavio-Cortez is anything but funny. She is disgustingly stupid.

Having you accuse her of being stupid is hilarious.

Dismiss her as stupid, flighty, insignificant, then you don't need to address her arguments.  When they have merit:

https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2019/1/4/18168431/alexandria-ocasio-cortez-70-percent

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/01/05/opinion/alexandria-ocasio-cortez-tax-policy-dance.html

As evidenced here by his posts, and as evidenced by the response to the above by GOP Congresspeople like Steve Scalise, neither REDSTATEWARD nor Republicans are capable of debating her argument on its merits, with facts.

Which then leads to the obsession, and need to DESTROY!!! her (while true that she has been getting a lot of media attention, that is in no small part due to the Right's focus on her...what she is wearing, how she danced in college, exactly how poor her parents were...naturally not on anything substantive.

The RIGHT!

Not helpful, Whisk

Unless you want to refute, "we are most vulnerable at our Southern border"

Could it be it is easier in the north?  Is this your contention?

4,000 terrorists caught at the southern border?  A demonstrable lie, coming from a “President” and his administration that lies.  Routinely.

What exact quotes are you referring to?

While it seems clear that REDSTATEWARD fully knows his defense of Trump amounts to trolling, I think kiidcarter8's is actually sincere.  And honestly, I don't think thats better.

You watch FOX, right kiidcarter8?  You catch Chris Wallace?  How about watched any news over the last there days?  If you did and/or have, you would have heard at least one of the many times this administration has mislead or straight up lied about terrorists and criminals caught at the border.

I want exact quotes.

Wallace brought it up. And didn't quote anyone.

It really bothers REDSTATEWARD when a politician promotes a falsehood, then has no moral compass to apologize.
LOL.
Check the Obama years.  It was routine.

LOL!
Don’t need to “check” the Obama years, I happily lived them.  As for “routine”…I’d say a 15 lie per day average defines routine.

I’d say having multiple administration members repeat a constantly debunked lie to justify an unpopular shutdown is routine lying.  I’d say lying about how popular the shutdown is, as well as your support on the issue that has precipitated it, defines a routine liar.  Lying to the point that spokesman for each living former President needs to correct the record shows your lies are routine.  Getting fact-checked in real time by an administration-friendly media outlet throwing softballs?  That shows its routine.  And these are all on one issue, in just the last couple of days…routine lies.

Lying from the Obama Administration was so not its routine that I know exactly which “lies” you would point back to, after he was President for 8 years.  The more notable ones not even actually lies.

4,000 terrorists caught at the southern border?  A demonstrable lie, coming from a “President” and his administration that lies.  Routinely.

Now, continue to ignore the facts and go right back to your trolling.

Looking to get family detention centers built.

When things go wrong I feel real bad.

As oppsoed to the GOP who, when things go wrong, don't give a shit (assuming things going wrong wasn't their very intention)-->

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/01/06/business/trump-tariffs-trade-war.html?action=click&module=Top%20Stories&pgtype=Homepage

But now, the company’s management is reluctantly mulling the possibility of moving its production to Mexico to escape the tariffs that President Trump has put on imported components, his primary weapons in a trade war waged in the name of bringing jobs home to America.

“It’s killing us,” said the chairman of the company, Pat LeBlanc, 63, a Republican who voted for Mr. Trump. He now expects the president’s tariffs will chop his 2019 profits in half. “I just feel so betrayed. If we fail because the company is being harmed by the government, that just makes me sick.”

Across the industrial United States, including in the crucial political battleground state of Michigan, such complaints are intensifying as the trade war disrupts factory operations that depend on imported parts.

Big picture.

Dwayne Haskins to enter the draft. He would be foolish not to. I expect him to be the first QB off the board, and a possible 1 pick. He looks like the closest thing to a franchise QB coming out. That will make him very popular with, say, the Giants or a QB hungry team looking to stay ahead of the giants, like the Raiders, or Bucs, or Jags.

Big kid with a strong arm I like him. He'll follow the money of course. Another year of college football would have probably helped him though IMO.

But he just can't pass up that moola. Might be the second or even third QB if he stays. Might have been the #1 if he stayed too for that matter.

Who would another year not help?

Heh

I am ok with Gmen drafting him at 6.  No problem with having a team leapfrog Giants for him.

Figure a pass rusher if not the q.b..  Or could deal down and take a different signal caller.
